Cleaning and Maintenance

Defrost

The refrigerator has an automatic defrosting function. Frost formed due to seasonal or temperature changes may also be manually removed by disconnecting the appliance from power or wiping with a dry towel.

Stop Using

Power Failure:

In case of power failure, foods inside can be kept for several hours. During this time, reduce door openings and do not add fresh food.

Long-time Nonuse:

Unplug the appliance, clean it, and leave the doors open to prevent odor.

Moving:

Before moving, remove all objects, secure glass partitions, vegetable holder, and drawers with tape. Tighten leveling feet. Close and seal doors with tape. Do not lay the appliance upside down, horizontally, or vibrate it; keep inclination during movement to no more than 45°.

The appliance should run continuously. Interruption may impair its service life. Foods can be preserved for hours even in summer during a power failure; reduce door opening frequency.

Cleaning of Door Tray

According to the direction arrow in the figure, use both hands to squeeze the tray and push it upward to remove it. After washing, you can adjust its installing height.

Cleaning of Glass Shelf

As shelves have a backstop, raise them upward to take them out. Adjust or clean shelves as required.

Cleaning the Fruits and Vegetables Box

Remove contents. Hold the drawer handle and pull it out completely. Lift the drawer up and remove it by pulling it out.

? ATTENTION: Use soft towels or sponges with water and non-corrosive neutral detergents. Clean the freezer with clean water and a dry cloth. Open the door for natural drying before powering on. Do not use hard brushes, steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives, organic solvents (alcohol, acetone, banana oil), boiling water, acid, or alkaline items, as they may damage the surface and interior.

Troubleshooting

The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Contact after-sales service if issues are not resolved.

ProblemPossible Reason
Failed operationCheck if the appliance is connected to power or if the plug is well contacted.
Check if the voltage is too low.
Check if there is a power failure or partial circuits have tripped.
OdorOdorous foods should be tightly wrapped.
Check for any rotten food. Clean the inside of the refrigerator.
Long-time operation of the compressorLong operation is normal in summer or when ambient temperature is high.
It is not recommended to have too much food in the appliance at the same time.
Food should cool down before being put into the appliance.
The doors are opened too frequently.
Light fails to get litCheck if the refrigerator is connected to power supply and if the illuminating light is damaged.
Have the light replaced by a specialist.
Door cannot be properly closedThe door is stuck by food packages or too much food is placed.
The refrigerator is tilted.
Loud noisesCheck if the floor is level and the refrigerator is placed stably.
Check if accessories are placed at proper locations.
Door seal fails to be tightRemove foreign matters on the door seal.
Heat the door seal and cool it for restoration (or use an electrical drier or hot towel).
Water pan overflowsToo much food in the chamber or food contains too much water, resulting in heavy defrosting. The doors are not closed properly, causing frosting due to air entry and increased water from defrosting.
Hot housingHeat dissipation of the built-in condenser via the housing is normal.
If housing becomes hot due to high ambient temperature or too much food, provide sound ventilation for heat dissipation.
Surface condensationCondensation on the exterior surface and door seals is normal when ambient humidity is too high. Wipe with a clean towel.
Buzz: The compressor may produce buzzes during operation, especially upon start or stop; this is normal. Creak: Refrigerant flow may produce creaking sounds, which is normal.
