? ATTENTION: After connecting the power supply cord, wait 2 or 3 hours before putting food into the appliance. Adding food before it has cooled completely may spoil the food.
Tips for Energy Saving
- Do not place the appliance near heat sources like cookers or radiators. High ambient temperatures cause the compressor to run more frequently, increasing energy consumption.
- Ensure sufficient ventilation at the base, sides, and back of the appliance. Never cover ventilation openings. Observe spacing dimensions in the "Installation" chapter.
- The arrangement of drawers, shelves, and racks shown in illustrations offers the most efficient energy use and should be retained. All drawers and shelves should remain in place to maintain stable temperatures and save energy.
- For larger storage space, middle drawers can be removed. Top and bottom drawers/shelves should be removed last if necessary.
- An evenly filled compartment contributes to optimal energy use; avoid empty or half-empty compartments.
- Allow warm food to cool before placing it in the refrigerator/freezer to increase energy efficiency.
- Allow frozen food to defrost in the refrigerator; its coldness reduces energy consumption in the refrigerator compartment.
- Open the door only as briefly as necessary to minimize cold loss.
- Ensure door seals are intact for proper closing and to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.

Tips on Storing Food
Freezer Compartment
- The freezer is for storage of food frozen at very low temperatures, long-term storage of frozen food, and ice production.
- Use only door shelves for frozen food; do not store hot food designated for freezing.
- Do not place fresh and frozen food next to each other, as frozen food may thaw.
- When freezing fresh food (meat, fish, chopped meat), cut it into usable portions.
- Follow storage instructions on packaging. If none, do not store for longer than three months from purchase.
- When buying frozen food, ensure it was frozen at a suitable temperature and the packaging is undamaged.
- Keep frozen food in suitable packages to retain quality and return it to the freezer promptly.
- If a package shows moisture or bulging, it may have been stored at the wrong temperature and be spoiled.
- Storage period depends on room temperature, thermostat setting, door opening frequency, food type, and transport time. Always follow packaging instructions and do not exceed maximum storage time.
Cooling Compartment
- To reduce moisture and ice build-up, never put liquids in unsealed containers. Storing uncovered liquids requires more frequent defrosting.
- Never put warm foods in the refrigerator; cool them first at room temperature to ensure adequate air circulation.
- Foods or containers should not touch the back wall to prevent freezing to it. Avoid regularly opening the door.
- Meat and clean fish (packaged) can be placed in the refrigerator for use within 1-2 days.
- Fruit and vegetables without packaging can be placed in the designated section.
? ATTENTION: Optimal temperature setting depends on ambient temperature. The optimal temperatures provided are based on an ambient temperature of 25°C.
