Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Key safety points include:
- To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
- Dangerous high voltages are present inside. To avoid electric shock, DO NOT open the cabinet; refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
- This appliance is intended for household use only, not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
- Ensure the fan is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects that may be drawn into the fan.
- To protect against fire, electrical shock, and injury, do not immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water or spray it with liquids.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product.
- No naked flame sources, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
- Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings. Slots and openings are provided for reliable operation and to protect from overheating.
- Use with care in tropical climates. Do not use the appliance in temperatures over 40 °C.
- Place the fan on a stable, level, and dry surface to avoid overturning.
- Only connect to a suitable AC 220-240V~50Hz mains socket.
- Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking, or other heating appliances.
- Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction, or if it is dropped or damaged.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Do not operate the fan without the fan grilles properly in place.
- Do not place the fan close to an open window, as rain splashing on it could cause an electric shock hazard.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or let it touch hot surfaces.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings, as this may cause damage.
- Do not use the fan if the grille becomes damaged or loose.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, if given supervision or instruction on safe use and understanding of hazards. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
- Children under 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged 3 to 8 years may switch the appliance on/off only if it's in its intended operating position and they are supervised or instructed on safe use. Children aged 3 to 8 years shall not plug in, regulate, or clean the appliance, or perform user maintenance.
- Switch the fan OFF and unplug it from the outlet when not in use, when moving it, and before cleaning.
- To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet; never pull by the cord.
- Do not attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify the appliance. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your Morris MFS-162226 fan.
Column and Base Assembly
The installation process begins with assembling the column and base. Diagrams show the steps for connecting the base, outer tube, and securing them with the height adjustment nut.
Fan Head Assembly
The next stage involves assembling the fan head. Diagrams illustrate attaching the rear grille, blade, and front grille to the motor housing, followed by connecting the fan body to the column.
Stand Fan Installation:
- Unscrew and remove the height adjustment nut.
- Place the base cover through the outer tube and screw the height adjustment nut to secure it.
- Position the outer tube onto the base and screw it underneath to fasten.
- Adjust the fan's height by screwing the height adjustment nut along the outer tube.
- Unscrew the nut located at the front of the motor housing.
- Place the rear grille (with the handle facing upwards) onto the motor housing, aligning its pins. Secure it with the nut and tighten.
- Insert the blade onto the motor shaft and tighten the blade's nut as depicted in the diagram.
- Position the front grill, ensuring the holes of both grilles align correctly.
- Tighten the screw to secure both grilles together.
- Insert the fan's body onto the inner tube.
- Tighten the body's screw (labeled as 18) to secure the body to the inner tube.
Table Fan Installation:
- Remove the screw (labeled as 18) from the fan's body.
- Place the fan's body onto the table base and secure it using the three provided screws.
Operating Instructions
Ensure the fan is placed on a firm, level surface. Connect the power cord into a 220-240V /50Hz electrical outlet.
Control Panel and Functions:
The fan's control panel includes a display part and a control part. The display shows various modes and settings, while the control part features buttons for operation.
- Display Part: Shows settings such as "NATURE" (0.5), "SILENT" (1), "L" (2), "M" (4), and "H" (POWER OSC).
- Control Part: Features buttons for "ION", "OSC", "TIMER", "SPEED", and "ON/OFF".
Key Operations:
- ON/OFF: Press the ON/OFF button to start the fan. It will operate in low speed with the ION function activated automatically. Press again to turn the fan OFF.
- FAN SPEED: Press the SPEED button to cycle through the available speeds: "L" for low, "M" for middle, and "H" for high speed. Pressing again selects Silent speed.
- TIMER: Press the TIMER button to set the operating time. The timer sequence ranges from 0.5 hours (30 minutes) up to 7.5 hours, with increments of 0.5hrs, 1hrs, 2hrs, and 4hrs per press.
- WIND MODE: Use the MODE button to select between "nature wind" or "normal wind". Note: This function may only be available via remote control.
- OSC MODE: Press the OSC button to activate the oscillation function, allowing the fan to rotate side-to-side.
- Tilt Adjustment: To adjust the vertical airflow direction, turn off the fan and wait for all rotation to stop completely. Then, manually move the fan's head upwards or downwards.
- Ionizer Function: The Ionizer function is automatically activated when the fan is turned ON.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To maintain optimal performance, clean the fan's blades and front/rear grille once a month. Follow these instructions:
- Use the fan only in dry environments, free from excessive humidity and water.
- Keep the fan clean by wiping away dust and dirt with a clean, dry cloth.
- Do not use spirits or thinner for cleaning the fan, as these may damage the materials.
- Before storing the fan for an extended period, clean it thoroughly, cover it with a plastic bag, and store it in a dry place.
