Freezer Compartment:

1.6 Energy Saving Warnings

  1. Refrigerating appliances may not operate correctly (possibility of thawing of contents or increase in temperature in the freezer compartment) when they are located for a long period below the cooling range for which the refrigerating appliance is designed.
  2. Carbonated drinks should not be stored in food freezer compartments or drawers or low-temperature compartments, and certain products such as ice cubes should not be consumed too cold.
  3. Food manufacturers recommend not exceeding the storage time, especially for commercially deep-frozen foods stored in freezer compartments or drawers.
  4. Take the necessary precautions to avoid excessive temperature rise of frozen foods during appliance defrosting, such as wrapping frozen foods in several layers of newspaper.
  5. The fact that the temperature of frozen foods rises during manual defrosting, maintenance, and cleaning could shorten the storage life.
  6. If doors or lids are equipped with a lock and keys, the keys shall be kept out of the reach of children and not in the vicinity of the refrigerator, to prevent children from being trapped inside the refrigerator.

1.7 Disposal Warnings

The refrigerant and the cyclopentane foaming material used in the refrigerator are flammable materials. Therefore, when the refrigerator is disposed of for recycling, it must be isolated from fire sources and recycled by a specialized recycling company instead of being incinerated, so as not to cause damage to the environment or any other harm.

When disposing of the refrigerator for recycling, disconnect the doors and remove the door seals and drawers. Place the doors and drawers in the correct position to prevent child entrapment.

Correct Disposal of the Product

The adjacent symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste. For the prevention of possible environmental damage, recycling should be used for the reuse of raw materials.

Diagram of settings: [Illustration showing settings 1 to 5 and fast cooling]

Fast Cooling Operation

Entry: Select the fast cooling function (fast cool) using the button.

Operation: The fast cooling indicator lights up and the refrigerator operates at 2°C. The function will stop automatically after 24 hours.

Freezer Compartment Temperature Control

Diagram of temperature control: [Illustration showing COLD, NORMAL, COLDER settings]

The freezer temperature is relatively low in the "COLDER" setting, while the freezer temperature is relatively high in the "COLD" setting, so the "NORMAL" setting is usually used.

When the ambient temperature is high in summer, the temperature should be in the range from "NORMAL" to "COLD". If the ambient temperature is above 35°C, the "COLD" setting should prevail.

When the ambient temperature is low in winter, the temperature should be in the range from "NORMAL" to "COLDER". If the ambient temperature is below 10°C, the "COLDER" setting should prevail.

Note: When the appliance is set to a lower temperature, the temperature in the freezer compartment will also decrease, and the cooling capacity in the refrigerator compartment may decrease.

4 Maintenance and Care of the Appliance

4.1 General Cleaning of the Appliance

4.2 Defrosting

The appliance has an automatic defrosting function. Ice that may form during seasonal or ambient temperature changes can be manually removed by unplugging the appliance from the power and wiping with a soft dry cloth.

4.3 Out of Operation

Power Failure: Food can be preserved for a few more hours even in summer in case of a power failure. During a power failure, it is recommended to reduce the frequency of opening the door and not to put fresh food into the appliance.

If the appliance will not be used for a long period: The appliance should be unplugged and then cleaned. Then, the doors remain open to prevent odors.

Moving: Before moving the refrigerator, remove all items inside it, secure the glass shelves, the vegetable drawer, the freezer drawers, etc., with adhesive tape and tighten the adjustable feet. Close the doors and secure them with tape. During movement, the appliance should not be overturned, placed horizontally, or shaken. The tilt during movement should not exceed 45°.

The appliance will operate continuously from the moment it is put into operation. Generally, its operation should not be interrupted, otherwise, its lifespan may be reduced.

5 Troubleshooting

The following simple problems can be solved by the user. If you cannot solve them, contact the after-sales service department.

IssueCheckSolution
Appliance not operatingCheck if the appliance is plugged into the socket or if the plug is making good contact.Check if the voltage is too low. Check if there is a power outage or if some circuits have been turned off.
OdorFood with odors should be wrapped carefully. Check if there is spoiled food. Clean the interior of the refrigerator.
Compressor operates for a long timeIt is normal for the refrigerator to operate for a longer time in summer when the ambient temperature is high. Do not put too much food into the appliance at once. Do not place food in the appliance until it has cooled. Doors are opened too frequently.
Lamp does not light upCheck if the refrigerator is connected to the power supply and if the lamp is damaged.Contact a technician to replace the lamp.
Doors cannot close properlyThe door is stuck by food packaging. You have placed too much food inside. The refrigerator is tilted.Check if the floor is level and if the refrigerator is standing stably. Check if the refrigerator components are correctly positioned.
Noisy operationRemove foreign objects from the door seal. Heat the seal and let it cool to resolve the issue (or heat it with a hairdryer or a warm towel).
Water tray overflowingThe refrigerator is overloaded or the food inside contains too much water, leading to excessive defrosting.
Condensation on surfacesThe doors are not closing properly, resulting in freezing due to air ingress and water accumulation due to defrosting.
Abnormal noisesThe heat dissipation from the built-in condenser through the casing is normal. When the casing heats up due to high ambient temperature, storing too much food, or compressor shutdown, stable ventilation is generated to facilitate heat dissipation. Condensation on the outer surface and the door seal of the refrigerator is normal when the ambient humidity is very high. Simply wipe the condensation with a clean towel. Hum: The compressor may produce a humming sound during operation, which is more pronounced during start-up or shutdown. This is normal. Squeaking: The refrigerant flowing within the appliance may produce a squeaking sound, which is normal.
