Architectural Specifications

The digital programmable thermostat shall be a Braeburn® model number 2020NC. It measures 3.62 inches high x 4.72 inches wide x 1.38 inches deep. Power is supplied independently by either a 24 Volt AC source or two "AA" alkaline batteries (3.0 Volt DC). The thermostat is compatible with single-stage gas, oil, or electric heating or cooling systems, including single-stage heat pumps and 250mV-750mV millivolt heating systems. Key features include a bright blue backlight display and a separate sub-base for easy installation. The temperature control range is between 45° and 90°F (7° and 32°C) with an accuracy of +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). The operating humidity range is between 5% and 95% relative humidity. The thermostat includes non-volatile memory for retaining user settings, adjustable temperature limits, a filter check monitor, and Adaptive Recovery Mode (ARM™). It allows for separate heating and cooling setpoint program times and temperatures. The thermostat provides a low battery indication. A front-mounted reset button will return all user and program settings to default values when pressed. The thermostat can be mounted to a horizontal junction box and meets California Title 24 and Energy Aware® Guidelines.
