Installation Instructions
Step 1: Shut Off Water Supplies
Turn off hot and cold water supplies. Remove the old faucet. Slide the hot and cold end valves (1) with gaskets (2) through the sink mounting holes. If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the gaskets. Ensure long tubes (3) are installed away from the spout and handle. The side with the label for HOT WATER should be on the left. Secure the end valves with washers (4) and threaded brackets (5). Hand-tighten the brackets (5) onto the shank (6). Lock the brackets into position by tightening screws (7).
Step 2: Install Spout
Place the spout (1) with gasket (2) through the sink mounting hole. Secure the spout and gasket with bracket (3) and nut (3). Use a Phillips screwdriver to rotate the wrench (4) if the faucet is not tight enough. If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the gasket.
Step 3: Connect Quick Connects
Push the quick connects (1) firmly upward and snap them onto the tubes (2). Pull down moderately to ensure each connection has been made.
Step 4: Connect to Water Supplies
(HOOK-UPS NOT PROVIDED)
Turn on hot and cold water supplies and flush water lines into a container for one minute. This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal parts.
Choose hook-ups for 1/2" I.P.S. connections: (1) Ball nose riser (3/8" O.D. copper tubing), or (2) 1/2" I.P.S. faucet connector. Use coupling nuts (3) (not supplied) with the ball nose risers (1). Use two wrenches when tightening. Do not overtighten.
Step 5: Install Pop-Up Assembly
A. Remove stopper (1) and flange (2). Screw nut (3) all the way down. Push black gasket (4) down.
B. Apply silicone to the underside of the flange (1). Insert body (2) into the sink. Screw the flange onto the body. The pivot hole (3) must face the back of the sink. Pull the assembly down firmly and hold in place. DO NOT TWIST. Tighten nut (4) and remove excess sealant.
C. Remove pivot nut (1). Install horizontal rod (2) and stopper (3) as removable (4) or non-removable (5). Hand tighten nut (1). Gaskets (6) are only required if supplied.
D. Attach horizontal rod (1) to strap (2) using clip (3). Install lift rod (4), tighten screw (5). Connect assembly to drain (6).
Step 6: Flush System and Check for Leaks
Remove aerator (1) using supplied wrench (2) or coin and turn faucet handles (3) to the full on mixed position. Turn on hot and cold water supplies (4) and flush water lines for one minute.
Important: This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal parts.
Check all connections at arrows for leaks. Re-tighten if necessary, but do not overtighten. Replace aerator.
