PLAUD NotePin Quick Start Guide: Setup, App, and Recording Instructions

Device Assembly and Attachment

Follow these steps to assemble and attach your PLAUD NotePin device.

Step 01: Attach the device to its protective case. The device is shown being slid into an open case, followed by the closed case. A green checkmark [✔️] indicates success.
Step 02: Attach the lanyard. The lanyard clasp is shown, then connected to the lanyard slot on the device. A green checkmark [✔️] indicates success.
Step 03: Attach the device to a clip. The device is shown being inserted into a clip accessory. A green checkmark [✔️] indicates success.
Step 04: Attach the device to a strap. The device is shown aligning with a strap mechanism, then secured. A green checkmark [✔️] indicates success.

Download the PLAUD App

Download the PLAUD application to manage your device and recordings. You can scan the QR code displayed or search for "PLAUD" in your device's app store.

Pairing and Connection

To connect your PLAUD NotePin to the app:

Put the NotePin into pairing mode by pressing and holding the Record Button [▶️] until the white indicator light flashes [?✨].
Open the PLAUD app on your smartphone.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process. The app will search for your device.

How to Record

To start recording: Press and hold the Record Button [▶️] until the device vibrates once [〰️].

Ready to Connect: White light flashes [?✨].
