This guide provides essential information for setting up and using your PLAUD NOTE AI Voice Recorder.

Getting Started
To activate your PLAUD NOTE upon first use, download the PLAUD App.
Device Components:
- 1. Indicator Light: Provides status information.
- 2. Recording Mode Switch: Toggle up for PHONE CALL recording, toggle down for NOTE recording.
- 3. Record Button: Used to start, stop, and wake the device.
- 4. Charging Port: For charging the device.
- 5. MagSafe Case: For securely attaching the device to your phone.
- 6. MagSafe Ring: Enhances magnetic attachment.
Download the PLAUD App:
Search for "PLAUD" in the App Store or Google Play to download the PLAUD App. Create your PLAUD Account.
Connecting Your PLAUD NOTE
Short-press the record button to wake up your PLAUD NOTE. A white light indicates it's ready to bind with your account.
Open the PLAUD App and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the binding process.
Recording Modes
NOTE Recording Mode: Toggle the switch down.
PHONE CALL Recording Mode: Toggle the switch up. For phone call recording, ensure the PLAUD NOTE is in this mode and securely attached to the back of your phone using the provided MagSafe Case.
Starting and Ending Recordings
Start Recording: Long-press the record button for 1 second until you feel one vibration. [▶️]
End Recording: Long-press the record button for 1 second until you feel two vibrations. [⏹️]

Product Warranty
12-Month Worry-Free Warranty: PLAUD NOTE AI Voice Recorder customers receive a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. PLAUD.AI provides free maintenance for performance failures due to normal use during this period. A valid serial number and proof of purchase are required for service.
Warranty applies if the device is not dismantled, modified without permission, operated in abnormal environments, damaged due to user guide violations, or physically damaged from improper storage or accidents.

FCC Regulatory Conformance: Complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules. Subject to conditions: no harmful interference, must accept received interference. Equipment tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits. RF Exposure: Device meets general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable conditions without restriction.
IC Statement: Complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation subject to conditions: no harmful interference, must accept received interference. RF exposure statement: Equipment complies with IC radiation exposure limits for uncontrolled environments.
EU Compliance: Nicebuild LLC, PLAUD declares compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU and Radio Equipment Regulations 2017.
WEEE Notice: This product and/or battery should not be disposed of with household waste. Dispose of in accordance with local environmental laws and guidelines. The WEEE logo, a crossed-out wheel bin, indicates separate collection for electrical and electronic equipment.
RoHS Compliance: Complies with EU Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863/EU regarding hazardous substances.
REACH: Addresses chemical substances and their impacts. Suppliers must inform recipients if an article contains over 0.1% of SVHCs.
Battery Caution & Disposal Information
PLAUD Statement: Handle batteries with care. Do not disassemble, burn, puncture, crush, or bend. Avoid excessive moisture and temperatures above 50°C/122°F. Charge fully before storage or if stored for over three months. Operating temperature: 0°C (32°F) to 35°C (95°F). Ambient temperature should not exceed 45°C (113°F).
Disposal: Dispose of electronic products and batteries responsibly at designated collection or recycling facilities, following local laws. Do not dispose of with unsorted household waste.
Competitor Statement (EU Batteries Directive 2013/56/EU): This directive governs battery collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal, aiming to improve environmental performance. For products with built-in batteries, removal may require authorized service centers. Disposal of batteries with household trash is illegal in the EU. Contact local waste management for proper disposal.
Warning: Danger of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short contacts, expose to high temperatures (above 60°C/140°F), or dispose of in fire/water. Replace only with specified batteries.
Simplified EU Declaration of Conformity
Nicebuild LLC, PLAUD declares that the radio equipment type is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU. For products without wireless operation, compliance with LVD 2014/35/EU Directive is declared.
