PLAUD NotePin User Manual

This document provides instructions for the PLAUD NotePin, a wearable voice recording device.

Device Overview and Components

The PLAUD NotePin is a compact device designed for discreet audio recording. The following components are identified:

1. Record Button: The primary button for starting and stopping recordings.
2. Indicator + Microphone 1: An LED indicator light and the main microphone for capturing audio.
3. Microphone 2: An additional microphone for enhanced audio quality.
4. Lanyard Loop: An attachment point for a lanyard or strap.
5. Charging Port: The port used for charging the device.
6. Magnetic Pin: A magnetic connector, likely for charging or data transfer.

Charging the Device

The device can be charged by connecting it to a power source via its charging port. The diagrams show the NotePin being connected to a USB cable or placed into a charging dock.

Connecting to the PLAUD App

To manage recordings and device settings, download the PLAUD application from the App Store or Google Play.

Pairing Process:

Press and hold the Record Button until the white indicator light begins to blink. This signifies that the NotePin is ready for connection.
Open the PLAUD application on your smartphone.
Follow the on-screen prompts within the app to complete the pairing and connection process. The app will display the NotePin's serial number during this process.

Indicator Light Meanings

The LED indicator light on the PLAUD NotePin provides status information:

White: The device is ready to connect or pair.
Red: The device is currently recording.
Blue (blinking): Indicates a low battery status.
Blue (solid): The device is charging.
Green: The battery is fully charged (100%).
Yellow: The device's storage is full.
