Operation and Configuration via Mobile App

The SNS212 MC requires commissioning to operate. The node can be commissioned and configured via the Philips MasterConnect app through Bluetooth LE. For a complete description of the features and default settings, as well as details on the app, refer to www.philips.com/easysense.

Wiring Diagram

The EasySense SNS212 MC sensors are compatible with Xitanium SR drivers. To find the SR driver that fits your application needs and for product specifications, please visit www.Signify.com/xitaniumsr.

Wiring Description:

The diagram illustrates connections between the Xitanium SR LED Driver and the EasySense sensor. Use 18AWG solid copper wire, rated >=600V/90C. Strip wire to 3/8".

  • Xitanium SR LED Driver Terminals: LINE, NEUTRAL, GROUND, DA+, DA-, LED+, LED-.
  • EasySense Sensor Terminals: DA+, DA-, LED+, LED-.
  • Connections:
    • EasySense DA+ connects to Xitanium SR DA+.
    • EasySense DA- connects to Xitanium SR DA-.
    • EasySense LED+ connects to Xitanium SR LED+.
    • EasySense LED- connects to Xitanium SR LED-.
    • Xitanium SR LINE connects to Black wire.
    • Xitanium SR NEUTRAL connects to White wire.
    • Xitanium SR GROUND connects to Green wire.

Sensor Dimensions

The sensor features a compact design suitable for fixture integration. Key dimensions are:

  • Length: Approximately 1.72 inches (43.8 mm) MAX.
  • Width: Approximately 0.96 inches (24.3 mm) MAX.
  • Height: Approximately 1.97 inches (50.0 mm) MAX.
  • Other dimensions include 0.66 inches (16.8 mm) MAX, 0.30 inches (7.5 mm) MAX, and 0.75 inches (19.0 mm) MAX.

Mounting Dimensions

The sensor can be mounted in different ways:

  • Mounting in U-shaped slot in sheet metal (max thickness 1 mm): Requires a slot of approximately 1.71 inches (43.5 mm) by 0.63 inches (16.0 mm).
  • Mounting in cut-out in sheet metal (thickness 0.7 mm to 1.0 mm): Requires a cut-out of approximately 1.73 inches (44.0 mm) by 0.67 inches (17.0 mm). A mounting ring is used to secure the sensor to the cut-out.

Installation Methods

The sensor can be installed in a fixture:

  • Mounting in a slot: The sensor is inserted into a pre-cut slot within the fixture.
  • Mounting in a cut-out with mounting ring: The sensor is placed into a cut-out and secured using an accessory mounting ring.

  • Accessory Mounting Ring: Part Number SMR-50 / Set of 50. Ordered separately, not included.
  • Accessory Mounting Bracket: Part Number SMB-50 / Set of 50. Ordered separately, not included.
