Lindab LTDP/LTDP(F) Slotdiffuser/Panel Installation Guide
This document provides installation instructions for the Lindab LTDP and LTDP(F) slotdiffusers and panels. The product is available in multiple languages, including English, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, German, Italian, and French.
Symbols and Overview
The following symbols are used throughout the document:
- SUPPLY: Indicates supply air flow. Represented by an upward arrow.
- EXTRACT: Indicates extract air flow. Represented by a downward arrow.
- Horizontal supply air: Diagram showing air entering horizontally into the diffuser.
- Vertical supply air: Diagram showing air entering vertically into the diffuser.
- Closed damper: Diagram showing a closed damper or louvre, restricting airflow.
- Open damper: Diagram showing an open damper or louvre, allowing airflow.
- No tools - Magnet: Indicates that no tools are required for a specific step, likely due to magnetic components.
- Unlock/Lock: Diagrams illustrating the mechanism for unlocking and locking the unit or its components.
The overview section shows the LTDP and LTDP(F) units, highlighting supply and extract air connections, and the FP-15 filter for the LTDP(F) model.
Dimensions and Specifications
The LTDP/LTDP(F) units are available in various configurations, including GBPF, JBPF, NBPF, and KBPF types. Dimensions are provided for lengths ranging from 600 mm to 1200 mm. Specific connection sizes (Ød) and panel dimensions are detailed based on the unit's length:
- For LTDP/LTDP(F) with lengths 600 ≤ L ≤ 1100 mm, there is 1 x Ød connection. Panel dimensions are 1195 x 295 mm for L ≤ 1000 mm.
- For LTDP/LTDP(F) with lengths 1101 ≤ L ≤ 1200 mm, there are 2 x Ød connections. Panel dimensions are 1345 x 295 mm for L > 1000 mm.
Detailed diagrams illustrate the dimensions for LTDP-GBPF/JBPF (showing W1, H1, Ød, x*), LTDP-NBPF (showing W1, H1, Ød, x-5*), and LTDP-KBPF (showing W1, W2, H1, H2, Ød, x*). The x* measurement is defined as x = 79 for Ød ≤ 200 mm and x = 119 for Ød > 200 mm.

Product Features
The LTDP/LTDP(F) units offer adjustable blades, providing control over airflow characteristics:
- High Coanda effect: Designed to direct airflow along the ceiling surface.
- High air capacity: Capable of handling significant airflow volumes.
- Vertical supply: Allows for vertical air discharge.
The LTDP unit is illustrated with supply and extract air connections. The LTDP(F) model includes an integrated FP-15 filter.
Accessories such as MHS (Mounting and Hanging System) are included with the LTD product for installation.
Installation Instructions
The following methods are described for installing the LTDP/LTDP(F) units:
1. Installation using Accessory MHS
This method is suitable for heights between 600 mm and 1000 mm. The steps involve attaching MHS components (B, D, E) to the unit (A, C) using provided hardware and tools.
2. Installation using Threaded Bar
This installation method utilizes an M8 threaded bar. The process, detailed in steps A through H, involves securing the unit with the threaded bar, sealant, and appropriate mounting hardware.
3. Installation Directly Against Ceiling
This method describes mounting the unit flush against the ceiling. Steps A through E guide the user through drilling and securing the unit directly to the ceiling surface.
Maintenance and Filter Replacement
The document also covers essential maintenance procedures:
- Balancing: Instructions for adjusting airflow.
- Maintenance: General maintenance guidelines.
- Replacing Filter: Procedures for replacing the filter, specifically for the LTDP(F) model.
Further installation instructions for the LTDF series are also referenced.
