F&P Airvo 2: Respiratory Support and Airway Hydration System

Introduction

The F&P Airvo™ 2 is an integrated solution designed for delivering Optiflow tracheostomy high flow therapy. It leverages Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's leading humidification technology to comfortably provide high flows of humidified air, with optional supplementary oxygen, to spontaneously breathing patients. This is achieved through the unique Optiflow+ tracheostomy interface.

Features F&P Evaqua™ technology, which reduces the formation of mobile condensate near the patient.
Offers options for both direct-connect and tracheostomy collar interfaces.

Supplementary Oxygen

Supports FiO₂ from 21% to 100%.
Includes an inbuilt ultrasonic oxygen analyzer that requires no calibration, service, or replacement.

Designed for Simple Setup, Use, and Cleaning

Provides helpful onscreen animations to assist with setup and troubleshooting.

Adjustable Flow Settings

Features an integrated flow generator that delivers a wide flow range from 10 to 60 L/min.
Does not require a compressor or wall air supply.

F&P AirSpiral™ Heated Breathing Tube

Requires no external probes, cables, or adaptors.

Water Vapor and Particle Transmission

The F&P Airvo 2 humidifier is designed to generate water vapor (molecules). Nebulizers and other aerosol delivery systems are designed to generate liquid water particles. Unlike liquid water particles, water vapor is not able to act as a vector for the transport of pathogens.
