Comelit MiniTouch Programmable Thermostat User Manual
Introduction
This document provides instructions for using the Comelit MiniTouch programmable thermostat.
Warnings

Minitouch Menu
To access the main menu, press the thermostat's screen. Navigate by touching the icon corresponding to the desired function.
The interface displays the current date and time, system status (e.g., "0W"), and the main menu icons: Climate, Scenarios, and Setup.
Navigation icons are available:
- [home-icon] Home icon: Returns to the main menu immediately.
- [arrow-left] Left arrow icon: Returns to the previous screen.
Main Menu Icons Legend
- [thermometer-icon] (Yellow/Grey): All thermostats inactive.
- [thermometer-icon] (Yellow/Blue): One or more thermostats active.
- [calendar-icon] (Yellow/Grey): No scheduled scenario active.
- [calendar-icon] (Yellow/Blue): One or more scheduled scenarios active.
Climate
Climate Menu Description
Access the Climate menu by pressing the [thermometer-icon] on the main menu screen. The screen displays available areas (e.g., Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, Louge, Bathroom), each showing its current temperature and status.
- Available areas are listed.
- A scroll function [arrow-up]/[arrow-down] is available if more than 4 areas are programmed.
- An indicator shows if a timer-thermostat is active for an area.
- The temperature recorded by the thermostat for each area is displayed.
Climate Control
Select an area (e.g., Bedroom 1) to control its climate. The display shows:
- Area name.
- Automatic mode [A icon].
- Manual mode [M icon].
- Manual forcing option.
- Boiler/air-conditioner status indicator.
- Current room temperature.
- Current set temperature.
- System activation/deactivation [ON/OFF icons].
- Access to the Climate scheduling menu [calendar-icon].
- Summer/winter mode selection [sun icon for cooling, snowflake icon for heating].
Climate Scheduling
Access the scheduling menu by pressing the [calendar-icon]. This function is available on Master devices only.
Note: Daily programming covers the full 24-hour cycle; unprogrammed hours are set automatically.
To schedule a new scenario:
- Select the days of the week (highlighted in red).
- Select the time or temperature to adjust using [+] and [-] keys.
- Press the [checkmark] icon to confirm each value adjustment.
- Press the [PROG] icon to start the programming screen.
- Press the [STOP] icon to log the information.
The interface shows days of the week, logged programming, and a daily programming graphic.
Manual Climate Mode
Press the [M icon] to enter manual mode. Use the [+] and [-] selectors to adjust the room temperature.
Climate Forcing
This feature allows forcing automatic or manual programming for a set period (hours or days). After the cycle, the system reverts to the previous mode. This is available on Master devices.
Access this function by pressing the [icon] in the relevant area menu. The screen allows setting hours/days and desired running time, then starting the forcing mode with [START].
Scenarios
Scenarios Menu Description
The Minitouch thermostat supports two scenario types:
- One shot: Activated manually, performing their programmed function each time.
- Scheduled: Activated automatically based on timed programming.
Access the Scenarios menu by pressing the [folder-icon] on the main menu screen. The screen lists available scenarios, one-shot scenarios, scheduled scenarios, and scenario settings.
Creating New Scenarios
Access the Scenario settings menu by pressing the [NEW icon]. Enter the scenario name using the on-screen keyboard (letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and special characters) and press the [checkmark] icon to confirm.
Scheduling Scenarios
To schedule a new scenario, press the [calendar-icon]. Select the days of the week, then use the time adjustment selectors ([+] and [-]) to set the desired activity time. Press the [checkmark] icon to confirm each adjustment. Repeat for multiple schedules. To delete a schedule, select it and press the [x icon], then confirm. Press the [STOP] icon to log the information. Once scheduling is complete, the scenario activates automatically.
Activating Scenarios
Access the Scenarios menu, then select the scenario category (one shot or scheduled) and the specific scenario you wish to activate. Confirm the activation by pressing the [YES] button.
Deleting Scenarios
Access the Scenarios menu, then the Scenario settings. Press the [delete-icon] followed by the icon of the scenario to delete. Confirm the removal by pressing [YES].
Modifying Scenarios
Access the Scenarios menu and then the Scenario settings. Press the [modify-icon] followed by the scenario you wish to modify. After setting desired functions, exit the Modify scenario menu.
Renaming Scenarios
Access the Scenarios menu and then the Scenario settings. Press the [keyboard/ABC icon] followed by the scenario you wish to rename. Change the scenario name and press the [checkmark] icon to confirm.
Setup
Setup Menu Description
Access the Setup menu by pressing the [gear-icon] on the main menu screen. Available functions include Language, Lock keys and touch, Set date and time, Information, Back light, Buzzer, and Advanced.
Language
Change the display language by selecting from the list (Italiano, English, Français, Deutsch). Confirm your selection.
Locking the Keypad and Touch-Screen
This function temporarily deactivates the Minitouch screen. Functions are reactivated after 60 seconds. Activate by pressing the "Lock keypad and touch-screen" icon and confirming.
Setting the Date & Time
Navigate to Setup > Set date and time. Use the [+] and [-] icons to set the Day, Month, Year, and Time. Press the [checkmark] icon to confirm.
Information
Access the Information menu to view software version details (e.g., VERS. SW, VERS. EE, MASTER).
Backlight
The Backlight function provides courtesy lighting in different colours. It can be activated ([ON]) or deactivated ([OFF]). Access colour adjustment and Smart Light menus from here.
Backlight Colour Selection
Enter this menu to select backlight colours using a colour wheel and adjust brightness with [+] and [-] controls.
Smart Light Function
To activate Smart Light, Backlight must also be active. This function indicates climate status via LED: Blue for summer cooling, Yellow for winter heating. The selected backlight colour is excluded when Smart Light is active.
Buzzer
When activated, the Buzzer emits a tone each time an icon is pressed. Access Setup > Buzzer to activate or deactivate this function.
Advanced
Caution: This menu is intended for installers. Incorrect modifications can compromise system operation.
Accessing Advanced Menus
Access via Setup > Advanced. Enter the installer password: 1961.
Advanced Menus Description
The Advanced menu provides access to the following functions:
- Calibrate touch-screen
- Total reset
- Reset configurations
- Update configurations
- Update product
- Transmission time
Calibrating the Touch-Screen
If the touch-screen is unresponsive, calibrate it via Setup > Advanced > Calibrate touch-screen. Confirm calibration and then press and hold the cross that appears in three different positions for 2 seconds.
Total Reset
This function deletes all user-implemented settings, restoring the system to its original default condition. Access via Setup > Advanced > Total reset and confirm.
Reset Configurations
Using this function will lose supervisor settings (scenarios, scheduling) but reload SD card programming. Access via Setup > Advanced > Reset configuration and confirm.
Configuration Update
This function updates modified functions on the SD card while leaving others intact. Access via Setup > Advanced > Update configurations and confirm.
Change Skin
Allows choosing between two different colours for the monitor's graphic interface. Access via Setup > Advanced > Product update. Confirm skin selection.
Transmission Time
Determines the speed of command transmission. A higher value increases the time between commands. For example, a value of 1 means 0.1 seconds between commands, and 5 means 0.5 seconds.
