Introduction and Important Information
Please read this manual thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference. This guide provides essential information for the Comelit MINIDOME IP camera system.
Product Overview and Dimensions
The MINIDOME IP system includes various dome camera models. Key dimensions for a typical model are approximately 62.5 mm in height, with a lens diameter of Ø 4.6 mm and a base diameter of Ø 92 mm. Other models feature dimensions such as 59.7 mm height, 29.9 mm depth, and 103.5 mm width, or 48.7 mm height, 24.4 mm depth, and 84.4 mm width. All models are designed for wide-angle viewing, indicated by 120° angles in diagrams, and include a Micro SD card slot for local storage.
Connection Types
The system supports two primary connection methods:
Plug and Play PoE Connection
In this setup, the Network Video Recorder (NVR) is connected to the web. IP cameras are connected directly to the NVR's Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, simplifying installation by providing both data and power through a single Ethernet cable. For this connection type, password change is not mandatory.

LAN Connection
In this configuration, the NVR connects to the web via its WAN port. IP cameras are connected to the NVR using standard LAN cables. This method requires a separate power source for the cameras. For this connection type, password change is mandatory.

Web Interface Access
The system can be accessed via web browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. The web interface is typically accessed using an IP address, for example, 192.168.1.150.
Upon accessing the interface, users will see a login screen presented by COMELIT. This screen requires input for 'Name', 'Password', 'Stream Type' (e.g., 2560x1440 25fps), and 'Language'. A "Forget Password?" option is available, followed by a "Login" button.

Comelit Advance IP Tool
This software utility helps in managing network parameters for IP devices. It displays device information such as Device Name, Device Type, Product Model, IP Address, Http Port, Data Port, Mac Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway. Users can modify these network parameters and restore default configurations.
