[Diagram showing notification, gate opening, and light activation based on facial recognition]

The facial recognition technology is based on a 2D geometric measurement that maps the face, identifying facial element positions (eyes, nose, mouth...) and measuring distances between them. This technology can be used for opening doors and gates in busy areas, but it does not guarantee the highest level of security. For more information, see "General Conditions" and "Privacy Policy" on www.comelitgroup.com.

Privacy Policy: A warning sheet is provided to inform the user about this topic with the following text: "If activated, this video intercom uses a facial recognition system. By using the video intercom, you authorize the processing of your personal data according to the Comelit privacy policy found on the website www.comelitgroup.com, Privacy Policy section. No images or personal data are stored by Comelit. In the case of video intercom systems with facial recognition, if activated by the purchaser, personal data (images and photos) will be processed to allow the user to associate a converted image (algorithm) with a name and/or pseudonym."

Adding a Person to Recognize

To add a new user, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Comelit App and navigate to Menu / Facial Recognition.
  2. Register a face using one of the following methods:
