II. FUNCTIONS

*Note: "Tap" refers to a press of less than 1 second. "Press and hold" refers to a press of more than 1 second without further instruction.

  1. Pairing: The remote is factory paired. If multiple remotes are in use, change the dip switch inside the battery compartment to "1". Turn the fan power OFF, then ON. Within 30 seconds, press the "LEARN" key on the back of the transmitter. Successful pairing is indicated by the ceiling fan light blinking 3 times and remaining ON, with the fan rotating at HIGH speed.
  2. Season Slide Switch: This switch controls the blade direction for summer (counter-clockwise rotation, left position, ? icon) and winter (clockwise rotation, right position, ? icon).
  3. Fan Speeds: 6 speeds & Natural Breeze:
    • Tap keys "1" through "6" to select fan speeds from lowest to highest.
    • Tap the "?" key to enter Natural Breeze mode, which simulates natural airflow. Tap any speed key ("1"-"6") to exit Natural Breeze mode and return to the selected speed.
  4. Fan On/Off: Tap the "?" key to turn the fan OFF. Tap the "?" key when the fan is OFF to turn it ON to the last used speed.
  5. Light On/Off/Dimming: Tap the "?" key to turn the light ON/OFF. Press and hold the "?" key to dim the light.
  6. Walk Away Light Delay: Tap the "?" key once to activate Walk Away Light Delay mode. The light blinks once to confirm. The light and fan will turn off after 1 minute. Press any other key to cancel this mode.
  7. Home Shield: Tap the "?️" button to activate Home Shield mode. The light blinks twice to confirm. The light cycles through ON (5-20 minutes) and OFF (60 minutes) periods. Press any other key to cancel.
  8. Sleep Timer: Set the fan to turn off automatically after 2, 4, or 8 hours by tapping the respective timer keys ("2H", "4H", "8H"). Tap the "?" key or the "?️" key to exit sleep timer mode.
  9. Power Off Memory: The fan and light resume their previous status after a power interruption, except when in Sleep Timer or Walk Away Light Delay mode, in which case they will be OFF.
  10. BYPASS Mode: If a dimmer is installed incorrectly in front of the receiver, it will automatically enter BYPASS mode, allowing only ON/OFF control for the light.
