RR7222T Remote Control & UC7301R Ceiling Fan Receiver
Important Points to Remember
- Read and save these instructions.
- Please note that a qualified electrician should install all fixed wiring appliances.
- Disconnect Fan from power source at wall switch before working on remote control receiver or ceiling fan.
- Refer to all safety instructions that were provided with your fan.

Receiver Installation Instructions
- Disassemble fan housing to expose old receiver. Refer to ceiling fan instructions for more information.
- Unplug old receiver and dispose.
- Plug in new receiver. See diagram.
- Install new receiver where old receiver was. This is simple plug-and-play, and screw down with existing screws onto bracket in housing.
- Install housing back according to instructions in ceiling fan manual.
Pairing the Remote with Receiver
Setting the codes on the Remote Control
- Remove battery cover.
- Slide code switches to your choice of up or down position. We recommend not using factory setting. Use a small screwdriver or ballpoint pen to slide firmly up or down the switches into any position.

Pairing Remote with Receiver
- Turn the main power off to the fan either by the circuit breaker or wall switch.
- Turn power back on to fan, and within 30 seconds;
- Press and hold the POWER (FAN OFF) key on the remote control for 10 seconds. Once the receiver has detected the set frequency, the down light of your fan, if applicable, will blink twice. There is no indication if your fan is not equipped with a light.

Installing Battery
- Remove battery cover. Press firmly on the arrow and slide battery cover off.
- Using a A23 (12v) battery, insert firmly into battery terminal making sure to align the positive and negative polarities to the matching polarities of the diagram shown inside battery compartment.
