Introduction

This document serves as the user guide and installation manual for the JONSBO TH-240/360 ARGB water/liquid cooler. It provides detailed instructions for installation on both Intel and AMD platforms, a list of included parts, and information about the software interface.

Software Interface

The JONSBO control software allows monitoring and management of the cooler's performance and lighting.

Control Panel Display: Features a circular display showing the current CPU temperature.

CPU Temperature: Displays the real-time temperature of the CPU (e.g., "Intel Core i9 12900K_P-Core #0: 23°C").

Motherboard Information: Shows the detected motherboard model (e.g., "Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MEG Z690 UNIFY (MS-7D28)").

CPU Utilization: Indicates the current percentage of CPU usage (e.g., "2%").

CPU Frequency: Displays the current operating frequency of the CPU (e.g., "5100.0MHz").

RAM Utilization: Shows the percentage of system RAM currently in use (e.g., "18%").

Intel Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an Intel CPU socket.

Step 1: Install the Intel Bracket

Attach the Intel bracket (C) to the CPU cooler block. Ensure it is oriented correctly for your motherboard socket type.

Step 2: Adjust Hole Position / Install Back Panel

Prepare the motherboard by installing the Intel back panel (B). Align the back panel with the correct mounting holes for your Intel socket type (e.g., 1700/1851 or 115X/1200).

Step 3: Install Spacers

Install the appropriate spacers (E for 115X/1200, F for 1700/1851) onto the motherboard mounting points.

Step 4: Apply Thermal Paste and Remove Film

Remove the protective film from the thermal pad on the CPU cooler block. Apply thermal paste (I) to the CPU surface if not pre-applied, or ensure the pre-applied paste is clean.

Step 5: Mount the Cooler

Carefully place the CPU cooler block onto the CPU, aligning it with the installed spacers. Secure the cooler by tightening the screws (H - Nuts) in a cross pattern using a screwdriver.

Step 6: Connect Cables

Connect the cooler's power and RGB cables to the appropriate motherboard headers:

3-pin power supply interface (cold head) to motherboard AIO/PUMP pin.
4-pin PWM fan power supply line to motherboard CPU-FAN pin.
ARGB cable to the motherboard's 5V ARGB pin.
USB cable to the motherboard USB header.

Step 7: Secure Fans and Radiator

Mount the radiator and fans (A) to your PC case using the provided case screws (J). Ensure proper airflow direction.

AMD Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an AMD CPU socket.

Step 1: Install the AMD Bracket

Attach the AMD bracket (D) to the CPU cooler block. Ensure it is oriented correctly for your motherboard socket type.

Install the AMD screw studs (G) into the motherboard's CPU socket mounting points.
