Overview of Yealink Solution for Zoom Rooms
The Yealink CP960 with Zoom Rooms version communicates with the MCore, which is connected to the same LAN. The CP960 functions as a Zoom Rooms controller, speaker, and microphone.
The MCore comes pre-installed with the Yealink Plugin for Zoom Rooms and the Zoom Rooms app. The UVC80, UVC50, and UVC30 cameras are plug-and-play.
Ensure both your CP960 and MCore have Internet access.
System Diagram Description:
- The UVC80 camera (or UVC50/UVC30) connects to the MCore via USB2.0.
- The MCore connects to two displays via HDMI.
- The MCore connects to the local area network (LAN) via Ethernet.
- The MCore connects to the Yealink CP960 via Ethernet (PoE).
- The CP960 can connect to optional CPW90 wireless expansion mics.
- An optional MShare can connect to the MCore via USB2.0. The MShare supports content sharing via 1.2m Mini-DP or HDMI cable from a PC.
- The CP960 is powered by a PoE adapter (54V/0.56A) or PoE switch. All devices are powered separately.
Assembling the CP960
1a. Connect the power and wired network.
Connect the 7.5m Ethernet cable from the CP960 to your network. Connect the power adapter to the CP960 and a power outlet.
1b. Connect the power and wireless network.

- Connect the micro USB port on the charging cradle to the USB port on the CP960 using a 0.3m USB cable. The CPW90 will automatically enter registration mode.
- The mute LED indicator on the CPW90 will flash yellow rapidly. Swipe down from the top of the CP960 touch screen and tap Settings > MIC > +.
- Long press the mute key on the CPW90 for 5 seconds. The CPW90 will register with the CP960 conference phone automatically.

Pairing the Zoom Rooms with CP960
Before using the CP960 as the Zoom Rooms controller, it needs to be paired with the MCore. Both devices should have the Zoom Rooms Controller and Zoom Rooms app preloaded, respectively. Ensure the plugin is operational.
Procedure
- After the MCore is powered on, the Zoom Rooms app will start automatically, displaying a pairing code on the screen. If it doesn't start automatically, open the Zoom Rooms app manually. Note that the initial MCore setup may take time, requiring a wireless keyboard and mouse for Windows system configuration.
- Enter the pairing code displayed on the MCore's screen into the touch screen of the CP960.
Once the code is entered, the CP960 (Zoom Rooms Controller) will successfully pair with the MCore (Zoom Rooms app).
