Precautions
- When using this refrigerator, ensure it is placed in a well-ventilated area to facilitate heat dissipation. Maintain a gap of more than 100mm between the cooling hole on the compressor side and any other objects – this prevents high temperatures from causing damage or malfunction.
- Do not keep the refrigerator door open for long periods. The temperature difference between the inside and outside of the refrigerator will cause the product to form frost, which tampers with the cooling effect.
- Do not clean the refrigerator under water.
- Do not use this refrigerator near radiators, heaters, ovens, open flames or any other heat source as this will reduce its refrigeration performance.
- Use this refrigerator on a flat surface. Using on uneven ground can reduce its service life and cooling efficiency.
Operation instructions
The control panel display shows:
- TEMP UP button
- DISPLAY
- ON/OFF button
- TEMP DOWN button
- CHILD LOCK button
- SET button
Temperature control range: -20-20℃ (-4-68°F)
Temperature display range: -30-40℃ (-22-104℉)
Standard voltage input range: DC 12V / 24V
Maximum limit: DC 30V
1. Refrigerator Start/Stop:
To connect the DC12/24V power supply correctly, follow these steps:
- If the refrigerator is in standby mode (displaying 'OFF' when the button is touched), hold down the ON/OFF button for three seconds to start the refrigerator.
- After starting, the display will show the current temperature and working mode.
- After a startup delay (one minute by default), the refrigerator enters the working mode and the compressor starts to work.
- To stop the refrigerator, hold down the ON/OFF button for three seconds while the keyboard is unlocked.
2. Refrigerator keyboard locking and unlocking operations:
To lock and unlock the keyboard, follow these steps:
- Hold down the CHILD LOCK and SET buttons for six seconds to switch the locking mode. The child-lock icon in the lower right corner will light up.
- The keyboard will lock automatically if there is no operation for 20 seconds.
Refrigerator temperature adjustment
- Press the TEMP UP or TEMP DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature. The current set value will appear on the screen.
- Each press of the button will change the temperature by one degree.
- If you hold down the button, you can quickly adjust to the required temperature.
- If the set temperature remains the same for five seconds, the set value will automatically save.
Refrigerator temperature mode setting
- Press the M button to switch between 'ECO' and 'MAX'.
- Select 'MAX' to quickly cool down to a lower temperature.
- Select 'ECO' to save energy and maintain a constant temperature in the refrigerator.
Low-voltage protection setting
This product has a low-voltage protection function. When the battery voltage is lower than the set value, it automatically stops the compressor to prevent damaging the battery. This is indicated by ‘E1' being displayed on the screen. If the voltage returns to a normal level for one minute, the refrigerator automatically enters the working state. The factory default range is 'mid-range'. To change it, follow the steps below:
- Unlock the keyboard.
- Hold down the SET button for three seconds until a confirmation tone is heard.
- Lightly press the M button again to display one of the battery protection level icons (L, M or H) flashing on the screen.
- Press the TEMP UP or TEMP DOWN buttons to change the setting to your desired protection level.
For a specific value, refer to the table below:
Battery protection | 12 V turn off | 12 V Turn on | 24 V turn off | 24 V Turn on |
---|---|---|---|---|
Low grade - L | 8.5 V | 10.9 V | 21.3 V | 22.7 V |
Medium - M | 10. 1 V | 11. 4 V | 22.3 V | 23.7 V |
High grade-H | 11.1 V | 12.4 V | 24.3 V | 25.7 V |
Note: If your refrigerator triggers the low-voltage protection prematurely, it is possible that the power supply voltage is too low or the low-voltage protection value is set too high. It could also be due to your DC supply wiring being inadequate – it is unable to provide sufficient current. Check the suitability of the power wiring and consider lowering the battery protection value if needed.
To ensure the car starts normally, it is recommended to set the protection level to 'H' when using the refrigerator in a car.
Single and double temperature zone function
This product automatically identifies the temperature zone. By inserting the middle partition, the default configuration is the double temperature zone. The left zone serves as the freezing zone, whilst the right zone serves as the refrigeration zone. In this configuration, the freezing zone temperature is adjustable.
When the middle partition is removed, it becomes a single temperature zone. The temperature is set to the desired value.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wipe the inner and outer surfaces with a damp cleaning cloth. Do not clean this appliance directly with water – this can damage electrical components.
- When not in use for long periods, ensure you clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator and keep it dry.
Error code description
If there is an abnormality in the compressor, module, fan, temperature sensing head or input voltage, an error code will display on the screen and the compressor will stop working. To solve this problem, unplug the power supply and plug it back in. The refrigerator temperature display will return, and after one minute, the compressor will start in refrigeration mode again.
The code description is shown in the table below:
Error code | Problem | Solution |
---|---|---|
E0 | The temperature sensing head is damaged | Please check or replace the temperature sensor |
E 1 | Input voltage is too low | Please check the input voltage and adjust the battery protection level |
E2 | DC fan over current protection | Please check the cooling fan |
E3 | Abnormal start of compressor | Please turn off the power and let it stand for 30 minutes |
E 4 | Abnormal compressor speed | Please adjust compressor operation mode (MAX/ECO) |
E5 | Module temperature too high | Please move the refrigerator to a ventilated place to lower the module temperature |
E6 | Module hardware failure | Power on after 30 minutes of power failure, if the fault is not eliminated, the module needs to be replaced |
Frequently asked questions
- Why does my refrigerator not work properly?
- Ensure the power is on.
- Check to see if the voltage is too low.
- Ensure all connections from the battery to the refrigerator are secure.
- Check the fuse.
- Ensure the refrigerator is turned on.
- Ensure the temperature is not too high.
- Why is the performance of my refrigerator poor?
- There is too much food in the refrigerator.
- The food in the refrigerator is too hot.
- The door is not closed properly.
- The door seal (sealing ring) is damaged.
- Ventilation around the refrigerator is not good.
- Ambient temperature is too high.
- Incorrect temperature setting.
- Why can I hear the sound of water flowing in the refrigerator?
This is normal. It is caused by the flow of refrigerant.
- Why does my refrigerator make a loud noise when starting?
- Ensure the refrigerator is on a flat surface.
- Check the surrounding objects for vibration.
- When the compressor starts, it may initially produce a slightly louder sound as the motor transitions from static to high speed. However, as the speed stabilises, the sound should decrease. This is a normal occurrence and nothing to be concerned about.
- There are water drops around the shell or door seal
It is normal for moisture in humid air to condense into water droplets when touching cold surfaces. This is known as condensation and is a natural occurrence.
