Product Components

FEET (for N20011 Steel & N20012 Alu)

The kit includes components for the feet, such as:

• Feet parts (x4)
• Screws (e.g., M6x120, x1)
• Associated part numbers (e.g., 72NA0002, x1)

BARS

Four types of bars are available, made from different materials:

• NORDRIVE QUADRA: Acciaio / Steel
• NORDRIVE ALUMIA: Alluminio / Aluminium
• NORDRIVE HELIO: Alluminio / Aluminium
• NORDRIVE SILENZIO: Alluminio / Aluminium

Various specific parts and codes are associated with the bars, including end caps and locking mechanisms (e.g., 75PL097A, 75PL105A, 75PL0024, 75GR0004, 75GR0005, 21GO164A).

Installation Steps

Step 1: Attaching Feet to Bars

Description: Attach the feet to the respective bar types (Quadra, Alumia, Helio, Silenzio) using four screws per foot. Ensure correct orientation.

Step 2: Locking Mechanism

Description: Engage the locking mechanism on the feet. The mechanism has 'Locked' ? and 'Opened' ? states.

Step 3: Securing Feet to Rails

Description: Use the provided screws (e.g., M6x100, M6x120) to secure the feet to the vehicle's roof rails. Ensure compatibility with the rail type. Some parts are pre-assembled.

Step 4: Initial Screw Tightening

Description: Tighten the screws using a screwdriver. Observe maximum torque limits as indicated.

Step 5: Attaching End Caps

Description: Fit the end caps onto the ends of the roof bars.

Step 6: Final Foot Attachment

Description: Secure the feet to the bars until a 'Click! ?' is heard.

Step 7: Mounting Bars on Vehicle

Description: Place the assembled roof rack bars onto the vehicle's roof rails. Ensure correct positioning.

Step 8: Bar Spacing

Description: Recommended spacing between the bars is approximately ± 70cm.

Step 9: Load and Positioning Checks

Description: Ensure correct load distribution (✔️ OK) and avoid incorrect placement (❌ NO). Verify the bars are correctly positioned on the vehicle's roof rails.

Step 10: Torque and Attachment

Description: Tighten screws with a minimum torque of 3 Nm. Ensure the foot is correctly attached to the bar.

Step 11: Final Tightening

Description: Perform final tightening of screws with a maximum torque of 6 Nm.

Step 12: Securing the System

Description: Secure the entire roof rack system to the vehicle.

Step 13: Locking and Part Attachment

Description: Lock the feet using the provided keys ?. Attach specific components like part 21GO164A.

Maintenance and Checks

Perform periodic checks:

• Pit-stop / Check! at 0100 Km
• Pit-stop / Check! at 0250 Km
• Pit-stop / Check! at 0500 Km

Re-check torque specifications (max 6 Nm) during maintenance. Be aware of potential noise and wind effects (indicated by warning symbols ⚠️ and sound symbols ((())) ).

Lubrication and Lot Information

Lubricate the locking mechanism annually (1 x Year) using the provided lubricant ?. Keep the production lot number for communication regarding spare parts.
