Product Overview & Functions
The top panel of the speaker features controls including Power, Mode, Play/Pause, Previous, Next, Volume Up/Down, EQ, and Light buttons. It also has ports for USB, TF Card, AUX IN, and DC IN. The included remote control provides similar functions plus numerical input for track selection, Mute, and mode switching.
Charging the Speaker
Connect the included charging cable to the DC IN port on the speaker and a USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will turn red while charging and turn off or blue when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours. Disconnect the charger once fully charged to prevent overcharging.
Pairing Devices to the Speaker
Turn on the speaker and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (phone, tablet, etc.). Press the "Mode" button on the speaker or remote until Bluetooth mode is selected (indicated by a flashing blue light or audio prompt). On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Megabass Speaker" (or similar name). Once paired, the light will turn solid blue, and you will hear an audio confirmation. The speaker can remember previously paired devices. To disconnect, turn off Bluetooth on your device or turn off the speaker. To re-pair, simply turn on the speaker and your device's Bluetooth. The speaker can connect to devices up to 33 feet (10 meters) away.
How to Play Music using AUX Mode and FM Mode
AUX Mode:
Connect an audio source (e.g., phone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the "Mode" button until AUX mode is selected. Control playback and volume from your connected device.
FM Mode:
Press the "Mode" button until FM mode is selected. Press and hold the "Play/Pause" button to scan for available FM stations. Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to switch between scanned stations. The speaker may require an external antenna (not included) for better reception.
Controlling the Speaker Lights
The speaker features LED lights that can be controlled using the dedicated "Light" button on the speaker or remote. Press the "Light" button to cycle through different lighting modes or turn the lights off.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Check the power switch.
- No Sound: Check the volume level on the speaker and the connected device. Ensure the correct mode is selected. Check AUX cable connection if applicable.
- Bluetooth Not Connecting: Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Turn off Bluetooth on other devices. Move the speaker closer to your device. Restart both devices.
- FM Reception Poor: Try moving the speaker to a different location or using an external antenna.
- Distorted Sound: Lower the volume. Ensure the audio source is not distorted.
