Keyboard Overview
The MCHOSE X75 V2 keyboard is presented with its key features and operational guide. It utilizes a compact 75% layout.
Key Features:
- Multimedia Knob: Positioned at the top, it allows for volume control by sliding up for Volume Up and down for Volume Down.
- Type-C Port: Located for wired connectivity and charging.
- RGB Status Light / Battery Indicator Light: Provides visual cues for the keyboard's status and battery level.
- Metal Magnetic Nameplate: This feature includes a hidden compartment for storing the USB dongle.
Mode Switch
A physical switch on the keyboard allows selection of the primary connection mode:
- 2.4G Mode: Top position on the switch.
- Wireless Mode: Middle position on the switch.
- Wired Mode: Bottom position on the switch.
Connectivity Options
2.4G Wireless Connection
To establish a 2.4G wireless connection:
- Set the mode switch to the [2.4G] position.
- Extract the USB dongle from its designated storage location on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB dongle to an available USB port on your computer.
Wireless Connection (Multi-Device)
This keyboard supports multiple wireless connections, potentially Bluetooth, allowing pairing with different devices.
Pairing Procedure:
- Switch the mode toggle to the [B] position (indicating wireless mode).
- Press and hold the [Fn] key in combination with the [1] key. The indicator light will flash rapidly, signaling that the keyboard is in pairing mode.
Device Connection:
- On your target device (computer, tablet, etc.), navigate to Bluetooth or wireless device settings.
- Search for wireless devices. Look for names such as "[MCHOSE X75 V2 3.0]" or "[MCHOSE X75 V2]".
- Select the identified device and initiate the connection. The wireless indicator light will stabilize once the pairing is successful.
Note: The keyboard supports additional wireless profiles (Wireless 2 and Wireless 3). To switch between these profiles, use the key combinations [Fn] + [2] for Wireless 2 and [Fn] + [3] for Wireless 3. During the connection process for these profiles, the indicator light will flash slowly.
Wired Connection
For a direct wired connection:
- Set the mode switch to the [OFF] position.
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the Type-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer. The keyboard is now ready for use.
Keyboard Settings and Functions
System Mode Switch
Adapt the keyboard's input behavior for different operating systems:
- Press [Fn] + [Q] to select Android mode.
- Press [Fn] + [W] to select Windows mode.
- Press [Fn] + [E] to select Mac mode.
Backlight Settings
Customize the keyboard's backlighting effects:
