MCHOSE K87 Handy Guide

Keyboard Overview

Keyboard Layout:

Top View: Shows the Type-C port, Mode switch, and USB Receiver compartment.

Front View: Displays the keyboard with keys labeled, including CAPS indicator light and Status Indicator.

System Mode Switch

Fn + A: Switch to Win mode.

Fn + S: Switch to Mac mode.

Side Light Setting

Use the Fn key plus arrow keys (←, →) to switch side light mode, brightness, speed, and color.

Fn + ←: Switch the side light mode.

Fn + →: Switch the side light brightness.

Fn + ↑: Switch the side light speed.

Fn + ↓: Switch the side light color.

Backlight Setting

Use the Fn key plus arrow keys (←, →, ↑, ↓) to adjust backlight settings.

Fn + ←: Backlight brightness.

Fn + →: Backlight brightness +.

Fn + ↑: Backlight speed.

Fn + ↓: Backlight speed +.

Fn + PgDn: Switch backlight color.

Fn + PgUp: Switch the backlight mode.

Right Shift: Turn on/off backlight.

Logo Light Setting

Use the Fn key plus arrow keys (←, →, ↑, ↓) to adjust logo light settings.

Fn + ←: Switch the logo light color.

Fn + →: Logo light brightness.

Fn + ↑: Logo light brightness +.

Fn + ↓: Logo light speed.

Fn + Home: Logo light speed +.

Fn + End: Switch the logo light mode.

Tip: When switched to Mac System, F1-F12 keys will function as multimedia keys.

WIRELESS CONNECTION

1. Switch the toggle to 【B】 to enter the wireless mode.

Note: The wireless device names for channels 1, 2, and 3 are 【MCHOSE K87 3.0】 or 【MCHOSE K87 5.0】.

The combination key of wireless channel 2 is 【FN+2@】, indicator is purple.

The combination key of wireless channel 3 is (FN+3#】, indicator is green.

2. Press the combination key to switch to Wireless1 and hold for about 3 seconds until the W key bottom indicator light flashes quickly to activate wireless pairing.

3. Search for the wireless device name 【MCHOSE K87 5.0】 or 【MCHOSE X87 3.0】 on your device, and click to connect. The wireless indicator light will go back to normal after successful pairing.

2.4GHZ CONNECTION

1. Switch the toggle to [2.4G】 to enter the 2.4GHz mode.

2. Open the nameplate cover from the higher right corner of the keyboard and take out the USB dongle from the dongle compartment.

3. Insert the USB dongle into the USB port on your computer. The keyboard is now ready for use.

WIRED CONNECTION

1. Switch the toggle to [OFF】 to enter the wired mode.

2. Plug the type-c port into the keyboard and computer port.
