Welcome to your new Philips 6915 Series TV. This guide will help you set up your television quickly and easily.
Getting Started: Unpacking and Assembly
Follow these steps to unpack your TV and assemble the stand.
- Unpack the Box: Carefully open the packaging box ?. Inside, you will find the TV screen, stand components, screws, remote control, batteries, and the Quick Start Guide.
- Assemble the Stand: Place the TV screen face down on a soft, flat surface to protect the screen. Attach the stand parts to the back of the TV using the provided screws ?. Ensure all parts are securely fastened.
- Connect Cables (Side/Bottom): Identify the connection ports on the side (R) and bottom (L) of the TV.
- Final Stand Attachment: Securely attach the assembled stand to the TV using the remaining screws ?.
- Place the TV: Position the assembled TV on a stable, level surface, such as a table or entertainment center.
Wall Mounting Information
If you plan to wall mount your TV, ensure compatibility with VESA standards. The Philips 6915 series supports VESA mounting:
- Pattern: 200 x 100 mm
- Screw Size: M6
- Recommended Clearance: Maintain at least 20 cm clearance from the top and sides of the TV to the wall for ventilation and viewing.

Connecting Your Devices
Your Philips TV offers a variety of ports for connecting external devices.
Back Panel Connections:
- AV/AUDIO: For analog audio and video devices.
- TV ANTENNA: Connect your terrestrial or cable antenna.
- COAXIAL: For digital audio or cable TV connections.
- USB 1 & USB 2: For connecting USB drives or other USB devices ?.

Remote Control Setup
Insert the batteries into your remote control.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.

- Replace the battery compartment cover.
