Unboxing and Stand Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your Philips OLED806 series television.
Step 1: Unboxing
Carefully remove the television and accessories from the packaging. A person is shown lifting the TV out of the box.
Step 2: Stand Assembly (Part 1)
Attach the first part of the stand to the bottom of the TV using four screws (x4).
Step 3: Preparing the Surface
Place the TV face down on a soft, flat surface, such as a table covered with a cloth, to protect the screen.
Step 4: Stand Assembly (Part 2)
Align and attach the second part of the stand to the TV base.
Step 5: Lifting the TV
With the stand attached, two people are shown lifting the TV upright. Ensure a firm grip.
Step 6: Placing the TV
Position the TV on its assembled stand on a stable surface.
Step 7: Ambilight Feature
Your TV features Ambilight, which projects ambient light from the rear of the TV.
Wall Mounting
For wall mounting, use a compatible VESA mount. For the 55-inch model, the VESA pattern is 300x300mm using M6 screws (10mm to 15mm length). Ensure at least 20cm clearance on the sides and 15cm at the top and bottom for ventilation.
Connecting Your Devices
The rear panel offers various connection options:
- POWER: Connect the power cable.
- USB 3 / USB 2 / USB 1: For USB storage devices or accessories.
- HDMI 3/4 ARC: High-Definition Multimedia Interface ports with ARC (Audio Return Channel).
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: For external audio systems.
- OPTICAL: Digital audio output.
- NETWORK: Connect to your home network via Ethernet.
- TV ANTENNA: Connect terrestrial or cable antenna.
- COAXIAL: For antenna or cable connections.
- HDMI 1 ARC 4K 120Hz: Supports 4K resolution at 120Hz with ARC.
- HDMI 2 ARC/eARC 4K 120Hz: Supports 4K resolution at 120Hz with ARC/eARC.
Additional connections include ports for HDD REC and Router.
Remote Control Setup
Insert two AAA LR03 1.5V batteries into the remote control, observing polarity. The remote includes buttons for power, source, navigation, and features like 'Help' and 'Ok Google' ?️.
