Getting Started: Unpacking and Stand Assembly

This guide provides essential steps to set up your new Philips television.

Step A1/A2: Identify TV Size and Components

Your television is available in 55-inch (A1) and 65-inch (A2) screen sizes. Unpack all included items: the TV screen, stand legs, stand base, screws, and power cables.

Step 1: Attach Stand Legs

Carefully place the TV screen face down on a soft, flat surface (e.g., a blanket or foam packaging) to prevent scratches. Attach the two main stand legs (labeled 'R' for right and 'L' for left) to the bottom of the TV. Use four screws for each leg and ensure they are securely fastened.

Step 2: Connect Power Cable

Connect the appropriate power cable for your region. The diagram illustrates connections for both European (EU) and United Kingdom (UK) power outlets.

Step 3: Attach Stand Base

Secure the central stand base to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. This component adds stability to the stand.

Step 4: Position the TV Upright

With assistance from another person, carefully lift the assembled television and place it in its intended location. Two people are recommended for this step.

Connecting Your TV

Connect various external devices and cables to your Philips television using the ports located on the rear and side panels.

Available Ports:

Remote Control Setup:

Insert 2x AAA R03 1.5V batteries into the remote control. Ensure correct polarity is observed.

TV Software Upgrade:

Your Smart TV can be updated via an internet connection. Follow on-screen instructions or visit the Philips support website for detailed guidance.

RC Instructions:

Refer to the separate Remote Control instructions booklet for comprehensive operation details.

VESA Mounting Information

This Philips television supports VESA wall mounting. It is crucial to use the correct VESA pattern and screw size specified for your TV model.

  • 55" TV: VESA 100x200mm, requires M6 screws (Length: 10mm to 20mm).
  • 65" TV: VESA 200x200mm, requires M6 screws (Length: 12mm to 18mm).

The VESA pattern is defined by its 'x' and 'y' dimensions. Ensure your wall mount is compatible and installed securely according to its own instructions.

Note: Wall mounting hardware is not included with the television.
