Philips OLED706 Series Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
This guide provides instructions for setting up your Philips OLED706 Series television.
Unpacking and Stand Assembly
Follow these steps to unpack your TV and assemble the stand:
- Carefully remove the TV and accessories from the packaging.
- Identify the stand components and the included screws (typically 4 screws).
- Place the TV screen face down on a soft, clean surface (like a blanket or the foam packaging) to prevent scratches.
- Attach the stand parts to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Carefully lift the TV and place it on a stable surface or prepare for wall mounting.
Connections
Connect your devices and accessories to the appropriate ports on the back or side of the TV:
- POWER: Connect the power cord to the TV and a wall socket.
- USB Ports: Connect USB devices like external hard drives or flash drives (USB 3 and USB 2 ports available).
- HDMI Ports: Connect external devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, or set-top boxes. Ports include HDMI 1/2 (with ARC/eARC support for audio return) and HDMI 3/4.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect to an external audio system using Optical or Coaxial cables.
- NETWORK: Connect to your home network via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.

Remote Control and Setup
Your TV comes with a remote control. Ensure you insert the batteries (2x AAA 1.5V) correctly.
To pair the remote control with the TV, typically you need to press and hold a specific button (often the button with a microphone icon or the OK button) while the TV is on and the remote is nearby.
VESA Mounting
The TV supports VESA wall mounting. For example, a 55-inch model may use a 300x300mm VESA pattern with M6 screws (10mm-15mm length).
Ambilight Feature
The TV features Ambilight, which extends the picture by illuminating the wall behind the screen.
