Important Safety Warnings

2. Do not connect devices exceeding the timer's maximum ratings.

5. Do not disassemble or repair the product; only authorized service personnel should perform repairs.
6. Always unplug and store indoors when not in use.

Product Layout

The Jewenwils HODT11A Outdoor Light Sensor Timer features a durable outdoor-rated casing with a flexible power cord and a grounded plug. The main unit includes a circular control dial, a power indicator light, and a light sensor. An integrated grounded outlet is located at the bottom of the unit for connecting devices.

• 1. Timer Dial: A rotary dial with settings for 2, 4, 6, 8 hours, OFF, ON, and Dusk-Dawn modes.
• 2. Power Indicator: A light that indicates if the timer is turned on or off.
• 3. Sensor: A photocell sensor that detects ambient light levels to activate the timer at dusk and deactivate at dawn.
• 4. Outlet: A grounded receptacle for plugging in lights or other devices to be controlled by the timer.

Operating Instructions

The timer dial offers various operating modes:

• OFF: Power is off to attached devices.
• ON: Power is continuously on to attached devices.
• Dusk - Dawn: Power turns on at dusk and remains on until dawn.
• 2 Hrs: Power turns on at dusk and remains on for 2 hours.
• 4 Hrs: Power turns on at dusk and remains on for 4 hours.
• 6 Hrs: Power turns on at dusk and remains on for 6 hours.
• 8 Hrs: Power turns on at dusk and remains on for 8 hours.

The selected cycle repeats every 24 hours.

Notes on Operation

1. The timer repeats its daily setting. In case of power failure, it will stop operating. Once power is restored, reset the desired operating mode according to the instructions.
2. Once programming activates at dusk in the 2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H Mode, the program cycle will repeat until the timer is reset. External lighting sources like headlights, porch lights, or street lamps will not interfere with the active timer program.
3. In Dusk-Dawn Mode, temporary light sources (e.g., headlights, porch lights) will not interfere with the photocell function unless they remain on for more than 15 minutes. If so, the timer will shut off until darkness is restored.
4. When set to "ON", the timer provides continuous power to attached devices until switched to "OFF" or another operating mode.
