Product Overview

The tzumi ProBuds SportSeries are wireless stereo earbuds designed for an immersive audio experience. They feature a built-in microphone for hands-free calls and are HD Voice Ready.

Earbud Components:

• Micro USB Port: For charging the earbuds.
• Volume Up/Next: Controls volume increase and navigates to the next track.
• Power / Multi-functional ON/OFF, Call Answer, Hang Up/Refuse, Play/Pause: A single button for multiple functions including power control, call management, and media playback.
• Microphone: Built-in for voice communication.
• Volume Down/Previous: Controls volume decrease and navigates to the previous track.

Charging the Earbuds

These earbuds contain an internal rechargeable battery that must be fully charged before first use. Charging takes approximately 1 hour. The earbuds cannot be used while charging.

• Red light ON: Charging
• Blue light ON: Fully charged

Charging Methods:

Via AC Adapter Wall Charger: Connect the earbuds' Micro USB port to an AC adapter (USB port) using the provided Micro USB cable.

Via Computer: Connect the earbuds to a computer or laptop (USB port) using the provided Micro USB cable.

Pairing the Earbuds to a Bluetooth Device

Ensure your cell phone has Bluetooth functionality enabled. Refer to your cell phone's user guide for specific pairing procedures.

• If no device connection is made within 5 minutes of the earbuds being switched on, they will automatically power off to conserve battery.
• Once successfully paired, devices will memorize each other, eliminating the need for repeated pairing.

Pairing Procedure:

1. Turn OFF the earbuds by pressing and holding the multifunction key for approximately 3 seconds. Then, turn them back ON by pressing and holding the multifunction button again.
2. Keep the cell phone and earbuds within 3 feet for pairing.
3. Activate Bluetooth on your cell phone to search for devices. Select "tzumi-earbuds" from the displayed device list.
4. Press "yes" or "enter" to confirm successful pairing.
5. After successful connection, the blue light on the earbuds will flash quickly twice every four seconds.

Connecting to Other Bluetooth Devices:

These earbuds can connect to a maximum of two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, with one connection dedicated to hands-free profile (HFP).

1. First, pair the earbuds with the Bluetooth transmitter (refer to the "Pairing to Bluetooth Cell Phone" section).
2. Switch off the Bluetooth transmitter.
3. Pair and connect the earbuds with your Bluetooth cell phone (refer to the "Pairing to Bluetooth Cell Phone" section).
4. Switch on the transmitter again; it will automatically initiate connection to the earbuds.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q: Why can't I turn the headset on?

A: Ensure your device is fully charged before first use. The device cannot be turned on if the battery level is very low. Refer to the "Charging the Earbuds" section.

Q: There is no sound during playback.

A: Check the connection between your device and phone or computer. If the connection is not established, reconnect. Adjust the volume to a suitable level.

Making and Receiving Calls:

Manage calls using your earbuds:

• Answer call: Press the multifunction button.
• End a call: Press the multifunction button.
• Reject call: Press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds.
• Redial last call: Quickly press the multifunction button 2 times.

Listening to Music:

• Play music: Press the multifunction button.
• Pause/resume music: Press the multifunction button.
• Go to next song: Press and hold the '+' button.
• Go to previous song: Press and hold the '-' button.
• Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the multifunction button.

Changing the Volume:

Adjust the volume by pressing the '+' (up) or '-' (down) buttons during a call or while listening to music.
