Product Description

The standard roof outlet is designed for VMC (Ventilation Mécanique Contrôlée) and air treatment in collective housing and tertiary buildings. It can be used for air intake, air exhaust, and kitchen hood extraction. Made of galvanized steel, it is available in 9 sizes ranging from 160 mm to 630 mm in diameter and comes in 2 finishes: slate or tile. The standard roof outlet can be used on any type of roof, with waterproofing achieved using a lead flashing kit.

Installation

The galvanized steel roof outlet is designed for VMC and air treatment in collective housing and tertiary buildings. It can be used for air intake, air exhaust, and kitchen hood extraction. Made of galvanized steel, it is available in 9 sizes ranging from 160 mm to 630 mm in diameter and comes in 2 finishes: slate or tile. The standard roof outlet can be used on any type of roof, with waterproofing achieved using a lead flashing kit.

The metal sleeve for connecting to the ventilation duct is integrated with the support plate, which is fixed to the framework, and the formable lead flashing to ensure waterproofing (Ø 160: metal sleeve integrated with the lead flashing only).
For Ø 160: remove the rain shield held by 2 or 4 screws.
For Ø 160: fix the support plate to the framework using all provided holes.
Shape the lead flashing to follow the roof's contours, avoiding crimping the edges.
For Ø 160, if the roof is tiled, it is recommended to create a shim along the battens to support the lead flashing.
Install the rain shield with the air outlet perpendicular to the roof slope.
For Ø 160: securely re-fasten the 2 or 4 fixing screws and connect the metal sleeve to the ventilation duct.

2 available finishes:

Slate model: smooth anthracite grey paint (RAL 7024).
Tile model: smooth brick red paint (RAL 8012).
