Product Description
The standard roof outlet (SORT.TOIT) is designed for mechanical ventilation (VMC) and air treatment in collective housing and tertiary buildings. It can be used for air intake, air exhaust, and kitchen hood extraction. Made of galvanized steel, it is available in 9 sizes ranging from 160mm to 630mm in diameter and in two finishes: slate or tile. The standard roof outlet can be used on any type of roof, with watertightness achieved using a lead flashing kit.

Installation
The metal duct for connection to the ventilation duct is integrated with the support sheet metal, which is fixed to the framework and the shapable lead flashing to ensure watertightness.
- For Ø160mm: the metal duct is integrated with the lead flashing.
- For Ø160mm: remove the rain shield cap held by 2 or 4 screws.
- For Ø160mm: the rain shield cap is clipped onto the collar.
- Fix the support sheet metal to the framework using the maximum number of provided holes.
- Shape the lead flashing to follow the contours of the roof, avoiding the crimping edges.
- For Ø160mm with tile roofing, it is recommended to create a shim along the battens to support the lead flashing.
- Install the rain shield cap with the air outlet perpendicular to the roof slope.
- For Ø160mm: re-install and securely fasten the 2 or 4 fixing screws and connect the metal duct to the ventilation duct.
