The Aldes 11030105 SORT.TOIT.D450 TUILE is a standard roof outlet designed for ventilation (VMC) and air treatment in collective housing and tertiary buildings. It can be used for air intake, air exhaust, or kitchen hood exhaust.

Product Description

This roof outlet is constructed from galvanized steel and is available in nine sizes, ranging from 160 mm to 630 mm in diameter. It comes in two finishes: slate and tile. The standard roof outlet is designed for watertightness using a lead flashing kit.

Areas of Application

Residential collective housing, new construction, renovation, and tertiary premises.

Installation

The installation involves securing a metal sleeve, which connects to the ventilation duct, to the support sheet metal fixed to the roof structure. A malleable lead flashing sheet is used to ensure watertightness.

For Ø 160 mm outlets, the rain cap is secured by 2 or 4 screws, or it can be clipped onto the sleeve.
Fix the support sheet to the roof structure using the provided holes.
Shape the lead sheet to fit the roof contours, ensuring it covers the flashing area.
For tile roofs (Ø 160 mm), it is recommended to create a shim along the battens to support the lead sheet.
Install the rain cap with the air outlet perpendicular to the roof slope.
Secure and lock the 2 or 4 fixing screws and connect the metal sleeve to the ventilation duct.

Key Features

Galvanized steel compliant with EN 10346 standard for coating regularity.
The standard roof outlet assembly includes:

A rotating rain cap with a removable protective grille.
A roof covering support plate with four fixing tabs.
A duct connection sleeve.

Two available finishes:

Slate model: smooth anthracite grey paint (RAL 7024).
Tile model: smooth brick red paint (RAL 8012).
