Before Wiring and Installing

CAUTION
Electrical Shock or Equipment Damage Hazard. Can shock individuals or short circuit equipment. Disconnect power supply before installation.
Wiring
The thermostat supports different wiring configurations:
- GA: For water heating (3A)
- GB: For electric heating (16A)
- GC: For water/gas boiler (3A)
Note: NTC and Modbus are optional features.

Installation
Your thermostat is designed for installation within a standard 86mm pattress box or a European 60mm pattress box.
- Step 1: Ensure power is off. [See Fig 1]
- Step 2: Remove the mounting plate by rotating the LCD part. [See Fig 2]
- Step 3: Connect power supply and load to the appropriate terminals (refer to "Wiring your thermostat" and Fig 3).
- Step 4: Fix the mounting plate to the wall using the screws provided. [See Fig 4]
- Step 5: Fasten the thermostat body to the mounting plate by rotating. [See Fig 5]
- Step 6: Installation is complete. [See Fig 6]
Home Screen Quick Reference
The home screen displays key information:
- Time: Current time (e.g., 88:88)
- Day: Current day of the week (MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT SUN)
- Status Icons: Heating On, WIFI, Lock, Period, Manual, Energysaving, Programmable, Underfloor Heating On.
- Temperatures: Room Temp., Set Temp.
- Mode: Clock, Manual, Programmable.
Operation
During Power On
- Power On/off: Press the power button [▶️/⏹️] to turn the thermostat on or off.
- Manual & Programmable Mode: Touch the mode button [⚙️] to switch between manual and program modes. Manual mode displays a manual icon [✍️] at the bottom. Programmable mode displays a period icon [?] on the left.
- Setting Temperature: In manual mode, press the temperature adjustment buttons [⬆️]/[⬇️] to set the desired temperature. In programmable mode, temperature and time settings are adjusted via the schedule.
- Adjusting/Setting the Clock: Touch the clock icon [⏰] and use the arrow buttons [⬆️]/[⬇️] to set the minute, hour, and weekday (1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, etc.). Press again to confirm and exit.
- Locking Your Thermostat: Press and hold the power button [▶️/⏹️] for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the thermostat. Full or half lock can be selected in system option 3.
- Adjusting/Setting Program Schedules:
- In program mode, touch and hold the schedule icon [?] until the weekday schedule appears (1-5 will show on the left).
- Use the [⬆️]/[⬇️] arrows to adjust the on time.
- Press the icon [▶️] and use [⬆️]/[⬇️] arrows to set the temperature for the 1st period.
- Press again and use [⬆️]/[⬇️] arrows to set the temperature for the 2nd period.
- Repeat this process for periods 3, 4, 5, and 6.
- Press the icon [▶️] again to enter the Saturday schedule settings (6 will show on the left).
- Repeat the above process to set the period and temperature for Sunday schedules.
- Press once more to confirm and exit.
Program Schedule Defaults
A separate schedule can be set for weekdays (Mon-Fri) and weekends (Sat/Sun).

7. Checking the Temperature of Floor Sensor: Press and hold the [⬆️] arrow for 5 seconds to display the floor sensor temperature.
Operation During Power Off
Setting Functions and Options:
When the power is off, press and hold the [88] and [⬆️] buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to access system functions. Press [▶️] to cycle through different items. All settings will confirm automatically when power is turned on.

ZigBee CONNECTION
Step 1: Download Your APP
Search for "Smartlife" in the Apple Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code [?] to access the app. Complete account registration and installation following the app's guidance.
Step 2: Gateway Connection
Ensure you have connected to a Tuya Zigbee wired or wireless gateway. Refer to the gateway's manual for connection details. The following steps assume a "wireless smart Zigbee gateway".
Step 3: Connect the Thermostat
Follow the tutorials below to complete the connection and setup.
Method 1: Scan QR Code Network Configuration Guide

Zigbee Quick Connect:
When the thermostat is off, press and hold the "down button" [⬇️] until the thermostat screen flashes quickly and displays the "Zigbee" icon [?]. Then, operate according to the app prompts.
Zigbee Gateway Connection:
With the thermostat turned off, press and hold the "down button" [⬇️] until the thermostat screen flashes quickly and displays the "Zigbee" icon [?]. Then, operate according to the app prompts.
