1. Features

1.1 Wireless Outdoor Sensor

2. Outdoor Thermo Sensor Description

The HYUNDAI WS SENZOR 77 is a wireless outdoor temperature sensor. The unit features an LCD display (D1) on the front. The back of the unit includes a hole for wall mounting (D2), a battery compartment (D3), a "RESET" button (D4), a "C/F" button (D5), a channel select switch (D6), a temperature probe plug (D7), and a stand (D8).

3. Getting Started

3.1 Outdoor Thermo Sensor

• The battery compartment (D3) is located behind the back cover. Unscrew the cover to open.
• Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing polarity [ "+" and "–" marks].
• The remote sensor should be securely mounted onto a horizontal surface.

Note:

Transmissions between receiver and transmitter can reach up to 30m in open area. Open Area: there are no interfering obstacles such as buildings, trees, vehicles, high voltage lines, etc.

4. RF Transmission

• The thermo sensor unit will automatically transmit temperature signal to the main unit after batteries are inserted.
• For using more than one external transmitter (maximum 3), select a distinct channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for each sensor before inserting batteries to ensure each sensor transmits on a different channel. The channel select switch (D5) is located on the back of the sensor.

5. Temperature Probe Usage

• Insert the probe plug (D6) into the jack on the right side of the Thermo Sensor Unit.
• Place the metal probe casing outside and keep the Thermo Sensor Unit indoors to avoid freezing the battery when the outdoor temperature drops below -20 °C.
• Always use the temperature probe to measure temperature within the following ranges: -50 °C ~ 0 °C and +50 °C ~ +70 °C.

6. Low Battery Indication

The low battery icon " " will appear at the receiver, indicating that the thermo sensor is in low battery status. The batteries should be replaced.

7. Precautions

• Avoid placing the unit near interference sources/metal frames such as computers or TV sets.
• The outdoor sensor must not be set up or installed underwater. Position it away from direct sunlight and rain.
• Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits.
