Regulatory Instructions

General Safety Instructions

  • Please read the user manual after having read these regulatory warnings.
  • Read these instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference.
  • Refer to the unit's instructions for use for cleaning and maintenance details.
  • Take care to install this unit as specified in its instructions for use.
  • The power plug must remain accessible, or a switch must be installed in the fixed wiring, in accordance with installation rules, to allow the unit to be disconnected from the mains supply at all times.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a similarly qualified person to prevent any risks.
  • Refer to the instructions for use for details on how to clean surfaces that come into contact with food.
  • This unit may be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience/knowledge, provided they are properly supervised or receive prior instruction on safe use and understand the risks. Children should not play with the unit. User cleaning and maintenance operations must not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
  • Keep the unit and its cable out of the reach of children under the age of 8.

Usage and Electrical Safety Guidelines

  • If the unit is intended for outdoor use (as specified in the user instructions), it is suitable for outdoor use.
  • Check the power cable regularly for any sign of damage. If damaged, do not use the unit.
  • The unit must be powered by a circuit comprising a residual differential current (RCD) device with an operating differential current not exceeding 30 mA.
  • The unit must be connected to an earthed socket (for Class I appliances).
  • For units with a connector base intended for partial or full immersion in water for cleaning: The mobile connector socket must be removed before cleaning. The connector base must be dry before reusing the unit.
  • For units with a mobile connector socket equipped with a thermostat: Use only the appropriate mobile connector socket.
  • If the ⚠️? symbol is marked on the unit: CAUTION: Hot surface. Surfaces are likely to become hot during use.
  • For toasters: Bread can burn. Do not use the toaster near or under combustible materials, such as curtains. Refer to instructions for bread crumb removal.
  • For electric barbecues: CAUTION: Do not use charcoal or similar fuel with this unit.
  • For barbecues intended for use with water: Refer to instructions for the maximum quantity of water. The unit is not designed for external timers or separate remote control systems.
  • This unit is intended for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use, or applications such as staff kitchens, farms, hotels, B&Bs, or catering.
  • Remove all packaging before installation.
  • WARNING: Keep packaging materials and accessories out of the reach of children. Never allow children to play with them.
  • Check that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds to your home's voltage.
  • Under no circumstances should the housing be opened. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into openings, and do not block air vents.
  • DANGER: Never use the unit outdoors unless otherwise specified.
  • DANGER: Do not connect the unit to the mains with wet hands; risk of electric shock.
  • Arrange the power cable so it does not touch any hot parts of the hob or nearby appliances.
  • The unit must not be connected via an extension cord or multi-socket.
  • CAUTION: Do not bend, crush, or jam the power cable behind the unit.
  • Leave enough space behind the unit to avoid direct contact with the mains socket.
  • CAUTION: This unit must not be powered by an external switch (e.g., timer, remote control) or a circuit regularly switched on/off by the electricity supplier.
  • Never disassemble or modify the unit.
  • Thorough cleaning and/or maintenance must be performed with the unit's power plug unplugged or after the power supply is cut off.
  • Should a malfunction occur that cannot be resolved by the provided information, please contact the after-sales service.

  • CE: This unit complies with European regulations.
  • ♻️ Recycling: The product and its packaging should be collected for recycling purposes.
  • ~ Alternating Current: The unit's power supply is alternating.
  • ?️ Disposal: At the end of its service life, the product must not be disposed of or recycled with other household waste.
  • ⛑️ Double Insulation: If present on the nameplate, the unit is protected by double insulation and does not require an earthed connection.
  • ⚠️? Hot Surface: Depending on the unit: CAUTION: Very hot surface.

Disposing of Your Old Unit

Respect the following regulations to reduce the environmental impact of your purchase.

  • You are legally responsible for separating the waste associated with this product (including accessories, instructions, and packaging) for recycling.
  • Electrical or electronic devices must not be sorted or recycled with other household waste.
  • Never leave used products and packaging materials within the reach of children, as they pose risks.
  • Retain instructions throughout the unit's service life and include this documentation when passing the unit to a third party.

Warranty Conditions

This product is guaranteed against faults caused by defects in manufacturing or the materials used for a period of two years, starting from the date of purchase.* This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by failure to install the device correctly, incorrect use of the product, or excessive wear and tear.
