The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration or accident, or with an altered or removed serial number invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user. Important Safety Instructions
Please follow all of these instructions to ensure the safety of your child. Keep these instructions for future reference.
Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness and ensure that the children are properly positioned according to these instructions.
Never leave children unattended.
Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached.
Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: This single stroller is designed for one child only. Use with more than one child may cause unbalance, potentially injuring your child.
Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags or accessory items may change the balance of the stroller and cause hazardous unstable conditions.
The maximum weight that can be carried in the basket is 5 lbs (2.26 kg), child tray and parent tray are 3 lbs (1.36 kg) each. If equipped, the maximum weight that can be carried in the back pocket is 3 lbs (1.36 kg). Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
Be certain the stroller is fully erect and latched in the open position before allowing children near the stroller.
Use of the stroller with children weighing more than 50 pounds (22.67 kg) or over 42 inches (106.7 cm) tall, will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
NEVER use the stroller on stairways or escalators.
NEVER use the stroller with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards or bicycles.
Recommend that the child occupant be at least 6 months of age prior to use of the stroller for jogging. Because children develop at different rates, please discuss the use of a jogging stroller with your health care provider prior to jogging with your child.
NEVER allow your stroller to be used as a toy.
To clean use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Replace or repair parts as needed.
Discontinue use of stroller should it malfunction or become damaged. Please contact our customer service Parts Hotline to arrange for repair or obtain replacement parts.

Assembly Instructions
Front Wheels
Remove stroller from box. The front wheel and rear wheels MUST be installed prior to use.
To attach the front wheels, unfold stroller as described below:
- Unlock the release lever (Fig. 1a). Unfold stroller frame by pulling backward on the stroller handle.
- Lean the stroller backwards so that it rests on the handle and rear axle frame and the front wheel forks are pointing upward (Fig. 1b).
- Slide the front wheel onto the front forks (Fig. 2).
- Slide the retainer plates onto the front wheel. Be sure that the raised lip is pointing toward the fork and insert it into the slot on the fork. The tab on the retainer plate must be lined up with the slot before tightening the wheel (Fig. 3).
- With the wheel in position, tighten the axle nuts with standard crescent, box, or open-end wrench. You should feel significant resistance and the wheel should be held tightly in place (Fig. 4).
Rear Wheels
- Rest the stroller upside down, on the handle.
- Press the rear wheel posts into the rear frame hub until it clicks into place (Fig. 5). NOTE: Check that the rear wheels have locked into the corner fitting by pulling on the wheels. If not locked, lift upward on the levers, push the wheels in farther and release the levers. This should allow the rear wheels to lock into the corner fitting.
Tire Inflation
6) Tires are shipped un-inflated. The tires should be inflated on a regular basis to the P.S.I. specified on each tire. Always use a bicycle style hand air pump to inflate the tires. *Not included.
Canopy
8) To open the canopy: push forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the rear of canopy in place (Fig. 8).
To fold the canopy: pull backwards on the front edge (Fig. 8).
Seatback Positioning
9) To recline the seat, press the adjustment tabs and pull down while holding the hoop. To place the seat into an upright position, hold the hoop and push the adjustment upward. The strap will lock automatically (Fig. 9).
NOTE: The upright position should be used only for a child that is at least 6 months old. Always re-adjust the safety harness, including the shoulder belts, when repositioning the seatback.
Parent Tray
WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 pounds in the parent tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions could result.
7) To attach the parent tray, align the fittings on the ends of the parent tray with the fittings on the outsides of the handle. Hook the hole in the parent tray. Pull outward on the opposite end while pushing down on the tray until locked onto the stroller handle. Please be careful not to pinch your fingers when installing the parent tray (Fig. 7). To remove the parent tray, pull outward on one end of the tray while lifting upward.
Child Tray
WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 pounds in the child tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions could result.
10) To attach the child tray: Align at a 90° angle to your left side armrest. Push the tray in firmly to lock into place (Fig. 10a). Rotate the tray downward until latched onto your right side armrest. Please check that the snap button comes through and securely latches the tray in place (Fig. 10b).
NOTE: Check that tray release button comes through and securely latches the tray in place.
To access the child seat: Press inward on left side tray release button and rotate upward on the tray (Fig. 10c).
To remove the child tray: Press the release button and rotate the tray 180 degrees and pull the tray until it is released (Fig. 10d).
Safety
Brakes
WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not roll away. NEVER leave stroller unattended on a hill or incline as the stroller may slide down the hill.
11) Locate the 2 rear brakes behind the stroller on the right and left of the axel (Fig. 11).
12) To engage brakes, apply downward pressure to the brake levers located on the rear axle. The stroller may require forward or rearward movement in order to engage the brake (Fig. 12). NOTE: Check that the stroller will not move once the brakes are properly applied.
To release, gently lift up on the brake levers.
Front Wheel Lock
WARNING: Always lock the front swivel wheel in STRAIGHT position before placing or removing your children from the stroller and when walking fast or jogging.
A FALL HAZARD: From tip over before running, jogging, or walking fast, lock the front wheel from swiveling.
13) The front wheel is equipped with a swivel locking device. Push the button on the wheel upward to engage the lock and push downward to disengage the locking device (Fig. 13).
To Secure the Child
WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.
14) The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness have 3 attachment positions (Fig. 14a). Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below the top of the child's shoulder (Fig. 14b).
Carefully place the child in the stroller seat and bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the child's shoulders.
To Release the Child
15) To release, push button on center clasp, the two Harness Buckles will pop free (Fig. 15).
16) Unhook the shoulder straps only if adjusting the harness positions (Fig. 16).
Jogging with Your Stroller
WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.
STRANGULATION HAZARD! Children have strangled when straps have wrapped around their neck. When not in use hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle. Keep this stroller tether strap out of the reach of children.
When you are jogging with your child, use the following safety features:
17) LOCK THE FRONT SWIVEL WHEEL IN STRAIGHT POSITION (Step 13).
SAFETY WRIST STRAP: Always connect the safety strap to either wrist when jogging. This strap will keep the stroller from rolling away in the event that you trip while running (Fig. 17a). The safety strap must remain connected to the rear lower frame cross member at all times. This location is intended to prevent the stroller being tipped backward in the event that you do fall to the ground. The safety strap includes a hook and loop attachment for storage, on the left side of the stroller, when not in use (Fig. 17b).
Infant Car Seat Attachment
INFANT CAR SEAT ATTACHMENT (Sold separately)
Compatible with the following Baby Trend® Car Seats: Flex-Loc, EZ Flex-Loc, EZ Loc, INERTIA, SECURE and Canada: EZ Flex-Loc 32.
WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.
WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use the Infant Car Seat harness.
18) Fully recline seat back and turn car seat Support Tabs on the stroller frame (Fig 18a). NOTE: Car Seat Support Tabs are Only used for the infant car seat. Check that the front child tray is firmly attached to the stroller armrests.
Position the infant car seat so that it faces toward the rear of the stroller and infant seat is placed into the front tray and latches into place (Fig. 18b).
When the infant car seat is locked firmly into place, strap the single Short Clip over the infant car seat through the seat belt slot on the infant car seat (Fig. 18c). NOTE: It is very important that the Short Clip is always tightly fastened around the infant car seat.
To Remove Infant Car Seat
19) To remove the Infant Car Seat, disengage Short Clip and squeeze the release handle located at the foot-end of the seat and carefully lift upward on the seat (Fig. 19).
To Fold Stroller
WARNING: Care must be taken when folding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near stroller while folding.
20) Close the canopy as described in the canopy section. Recline seat by releasing buckle as described in seatback positioning section.
The stroller is folded by simultaneously pulling each trigger (Fig. 20a). When the fold latches are released, the handle will begin to fall toward the floor. Release the trigger and press downward on the stroller handle until the stroller is completely folded. Secure the stroller in the folded position by locking the fold latch, located on the right side of the stroller, over the rivet that protrudes from the frame (Fig. 20b).

WARNING: Care must be taken when unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near stroller while unfolding.

To Unfold the Stroller
21) Release the folding latch, which is located on the right side (Fig. 21a).
Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the stroller frame is locked in the open position (Fig. 21b). The stroller has spring-loaded latches on both sides of the frame. Test that both latches are fully engaged prior to placing child in the stroller.
Care and Maintenance
Testing for Proper Wheel Installation
WARNING: ALWAYS check the double nut locking system before each use to ensure that the front wheel is securely fastened to the frame.
Maintenance
22) Lift the front wheel off of the ground and sharply strike the top of the tire (Fig. 22). The wheel should not be loose or come off.
If you experience front wheel wobble that is beyond what is normal for use while walking or jogging you may have to adjust the front wheel housing nut.
23) Remove footrest to access nut. You can use a standard crescent, box, or open-end wrench to tighten the nut (Fig. 23). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN this can cause damage to the wheel housing.
Fender
If adjustment or replacement is necessary:
24) Line up the front fender and press onto the front frame assembly (Fig. 24a).
Insert the 4 screws through the underside of the front frame assembly into the front fender's plastic tubes. Tighten the screws only until snug (Fig. 24b). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
Seat Pad
To clean the seat pad, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Other
Check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Replace or repair parts as needed.

RUEDAS DELANTERAS
Retire el carrito de la caja. Antes del uso SE DEBEN instalar las ruedas delanteras, las ruedas traseras.

- • Destrabe la palanca de liberación (Fig. 1a). Despliegue el armazón del carrito tirando hacia atrás del manubrio. Incline el carrito hacia atrás de modo que se apoye sobre el manubrio y el armazón del eje trasero, y que las horquillas de la rueda delantera apunten hacia arriba (Fig. 1b).
- • Deslice la rueda delantera dentro de las horquillas delanteras (Fig. 2).
- • Inserte la placa de retención en el eje de la rueda. La clavija en la punta de la placa debe de colocarse hacia adentro, de cara a la horquilla. Debe alinear la clavija de la placa con el agujero antes de atornillar las tuercas para asegurar la rueda (Fig. 3).
- • Posicione la rueda correctamente. Ponga las tuercas en el eje y atorníllelas con una llave inglesa-abierta o de pipa. Apriételas hasta que sienta bastante resistencia. La rueda debe quedar fija (Fig. 4).
RUEDA TRASERA
- • Invierta el carrito para que quede sobre el manubrio.
- • Presione los postes de la rueda trasera dentro de los cubos del armazón trasero hasta que encajen (Fig. 5). NOTA: Verifique que las ruedas traseras se hayan bloqueado en el accesorio de la esquina al halar de las rueda. Si no está bloqueado, levante hacia arriba las palancas, empuje las ruedas hacia adentro y suelte las palancas. Esto debería permitir que las ruedas traseras se bloqueen en el accesorio de la esquina.
PNEUS
6) Los neumáticos se entregan desinflados. Los neumáticos deben inflarse regularmente de acuerdo al P.S.I. específico de cada neumático. Siempre infle los neumáticos con un inflador de aire manual para bicicletas. *no incluido.
BANDEJA PARA PADRES
ADVERTENCIA: No coloque líquidos calientes ni más de 3 libras sobre la bandeja para padres, ya que podría causar quemaduras graves o inestabilidad.
7) Para colocar la bandeja para padres, alinee los accesorios de los extremos de la bandeja para padres con los accesorios de las partes externas del manubrio. Enganche el agujero en la bandeja para padres. Tire hacia fuera en el extremo opuesto mientras empuja hacia abajo la bandeja hasta que se trabe en el manubrio del carrito. Por favor, tenga la precaución de no pellizcarse los dedos al instalar la bandeja para padres (Fig. 7). Para retirar la bandeja para padres, tire hacia fuera de un extremo de la bandeja mientras la levanta.
CUBIERTA
8) Para abrir la cubierta: empuje hacia delante el borde delantero de la cubierta mientras sostiene la parte trasera de la misma en su sitio (Fig. 8).
• Para plegar la cubierta: empuje hacia atrás el borde delantero (Fig. 8).
POSICIONED DEL RESPALDO
9) Para reclinar el asiento, presione las pestañas de ajuste y tire hacia abajo mientras sostiene el aro. Para colocar el asiento en posición vertical, sostenga el aro y empuje el ajuste hacia arriba. La correa se bloqueará automáticamente (Fig. 9). NOTA: La posición erguida se debe usar únicamente para un niño de al menos 6 meses. Al reposicionar el respaldo, siempre vuelva a ajustar el arnés de seguridad, incluyendo los cinturones del hombro.
BANDEJA PARA NIÑOS
ADVERTENCIA: No coloque líquidos calientes ni más de 3 libras sobre la bandeja para niños, ya que podría causar quemaduras graves o inestabilidad.
10) Para colocar la bandeja para niños: Alinee en un ángulo de 90° hacia su apoyabrazos izquierdo. Empuje hacia adentro la bandeja firmemente para que se trabe (Fig. 10a). Gire la bandeja hacia abajo hasta que se sujete bien su apoyabrazos derecho. Por favor, verifique que el botón a presión atraviese por completo y trabe la bandeja de manera segura (Fig. 10b).

• Para acceder al asiento para niños: Oprima el botón a presión que está a la derecha y ejerza presión hacia arriba. La bandeja para niños se levantará y girará hacia arriba para permitir el acceso al asiento (Fig. 10c).
• Para retirar la bandeja para niños: Presione el botón de liberación y gire la bandeja á 180 grados y jale la bandeja hasta que se libere (Fig. 10d).
FRENOS
ADVERTENCIA: Siempre aplique los frenos cuando el carrito no esté siendo empujado, para impedir que ruede fuera de su alcance. Nunca deje el carrito desatendido en una colina o pendiente, ya que podría deslizarse pendiente abajo.
11) Localize los 2 frenos traseros detrás del carrito a la derecha ya la izquierda del eje (Fig. 11).
12) Para aplicar los frenos, ejerza presión hacia abajo a las palancas del freno situada en el eje trasero. El carrito podría requerir un movimiento hacia delante o hacia atrás para activar el freno (Fig. 12). NOTA: Verifique que el carrito no se mueve una vez que los frenos estén aplicados correctamente.
• Para soltarlos, levante suavemente la palanca del freno.
BLOQUEO DE LAS RUEDA DELANTERAS
ADVERTENCIA: Siempre trabe la rueda delantera giratoria en la posición RECTA antes de colocar o retirar a su hijo del carrito y al caminar a rápido o corriendo.
PELIGRO DE CAÍDA: Evitar vuelcos, antes de correr, trotar o caminar rápido, bloquear la rueda delantera de girar.
13) La rueda delantera está equipada con un mecanismo de bloqueo de giro. Empuje la palanca rueda hacia arriba para enganchar el pestillo y empuje hacia abajo para desenganchar el mecanismo de bloqueo (Fig. 13).

PARA SUJETAR AL NIÑO
ADVERTENCIA: Evite lesiones graves por caídas o resbalones. Siempre use el arnés de seguridad.

14) Las correas del hombro del arnés de 5 puntos tienen 3 posiciones de sujeción (Fig. 14a). Escoja la posición que sitúe a la correa del hombro al mismo nivel o a un nivel inferior a la parte superior del hombro del niño (Fig. 14b).
• Coloque cuidadosamente al niño en el asiento del carrito y pase el arnés de seguridad por la cintura del niño y por encima de los hombros. Coloque la correa de la entrepierna entre las piernas del niño. Introduzca el extremo macho del cinturón de cada hombro o de la cintura en la hebilla de la correa de la entrepierna. Ajuste el arnés de modo que esté ceñido alrededor de la cintura del niño y por encima de sus hombros.
PARA SOLTARLAS AL NIÑO
15) Para soltarlas, presione el botón en la presilla central para destrabar las dos hebillas del arnés (Fig. 15).
16) Desenganche las correas de los hombros solo si ajusta las posiciones del arnés (Fig. 16).
LE JOGGING AVEC VOTRE POUSSETTE
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne jamais faire du jogging ou de courir avec votre nouveau-né dans la voiture la position du siège. Utiliser pour se promener seul.
DANGER DE STRANGULATION! Des enfants se sont étranglés lorsque des sangles se sont enroulées autour de leur cou. Lorsque vous ne l'utilisez pas, accrochez la sangle d'attache sur la poignée de la poussette. Gardez la sangle d'attache de la poussette hors de la portée des enfants.
Lorsque vous faites du jogging avec votre enfant, utilisez les dispositifs de sécurité ci-dessous :
17) VERROUILLER LAS ROUES AVANT AND POSITION DROITE (étape 13).
DRAGONNE DE SÉCURITÉ : Toujours attacher au poignet la sangle de sécurité en faisant du jogging. Cette sangle retiendra la Poussette, dans le cas où vous tombez à la course (Fig. 17a). La sangle de sécurité doit toujours être connectée à l'arrière du cadre inférieur. Cet emplacement est utilisé pour empêcher la Poussette de basculer vers l'arrière dans le cas où vous tombez. La sangle de sécurité comprend une attache la sangle de sécurité comprend une attache et une boucle permettant son rangement du côté gauche de la poussette lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée (Fig. 17b).

18) Inclinez complètement le siège vers l'arrière et retournez les languettes d'appui du siège d'auto sur le châssis de la poussette (Fig 18a). REMARQUE: languettes de support de siège d'auto ne sont utilisés que pour le siège d'auto. Vérifiez que le plateau pour enfant est solidement fixé aux accoudoirs de la poussette.
Positionner le siège d'auto pour qu'il soit orienté vers l'arrière de la poussette et que le siège d'auto soit placé dans le plateau avant et qu'il se verrouille en place (Fig. 18b).
Avec le siège d'auto installé, attachez le seul agrafe courte par-dessus le siège d'auto pour bébé à travers la fente pour la ceinture de sécurité sur le siège d'auto pour bébé (Fig. 18c). REMARQUE: Il est trés important que le agrafe courte est tourjours serré autour du siège d'auto.
POUR RETIRER SIÈGE D'AUTO
19) Pour supprimer les sièges d'auto pour nourrisson, relâchez agrafe courte et presser la poignée située au pied de fin du siège et soulevez la hausse sur le siège (Fig. 19).

La poussette est pliée en tirant simultanément chaque plide déclenchement (Fig. 20a). Lorsque les verrous sont libérés, la poignée va commencer à tomber vers le sol. Relâchez les boutons et appuyez vers le bas sur la Poussette jusqu'à ce qu'elle est complètement pliée. Verrouillez la Poussette pliée dans la position fermée en attachant la sangle de verrouillage, situé sur le côté droit de la poignée de la poussette, sur le rivet situé sur l'accoudoir. (Fig. 20b)

21) • Relâchez le levier de verrouillage qui est situé sur le côté droit (Fig. 21a).
• Tirer vers haut sur la poignée de la poussette avec les deux mains jusqu'à ce que le cadre est redressé et verrouillé en position ouvert (Fig. 21b). La Poussette a des verrous à ressort des deux côtés de l'armature. S'assurer que les deux verrous sont entièrement engagés avant de placer votre enfant dans la poussette.

AVERTISSEMENT : TOUJOURS vérifier le dispositif de blocage de sécurité à écrous couplés avant chaque utilisation pour vous assurer que la roue avant est solidement fixée au cadre.
22) Soulevez la roue avant du sol et frappez brusquement sur le dessus du pneu (Fig. 22). La roue ne devrait pas être branlante ou se détacher.
Si la roue avant oscille au-delà de ce qui est normal lors de l'utilisation pour la marche ou le jogging, vous devrez peut-être ajuster l'écrou de la roue avant.
23) Retirez le repose-pieds afin d'accéder à l'écrou. Vous pouvez utiliser une une clé à molette standard pour resserrer l'écrou (Fig. 23). NE PAS TROP SERRER, car cela pourrait endommager le logement de la roue avant.
PARE-CHOCS

24) Aligner le pare-chocs et presser sur le cadre avant (Fig. 24a).
Insérer les 4 vis à travers le dessous du cadre avant et dans les tubes en plastique du pare-chocs. Tourner les vis seulement jusqu'à bien serré (Fig. 24b). NE PAS TROP SERRER.
SEAT PADGARNITURE DE SIÈGE
Pour nettoyer la garniture de siège, n'utilisez que du savon ou détergent doux et de l'eau chaude à l'aide d'une éponge ou d'un chiffon propre.
AUTRES
Vérifiez régulièrement la poussette pour détecter la présence de vis desserrées, de pièces usées, de tissu déchiré ou décousu. Remplacez ou réparez les pièces au besoin.
