Current Setup Overview
This diagram illustrates the connection flow:
- Step 2: Bluetooth Connection: The Car Stereo connects to the W901 Pro via Bluetooth.
- Step 1: CarPlay Connection: The W901 Pro connects wirelessly to your Mobile device for CarPlay. No physical link is required between the W901 Pro and the mobile device.

Step 1: Connect Your Phone to W901 Pro for CarPlay
Follow these steps to connect your iPhone to the W901 Pro for CarPlay functionality:
iPhone Bluetooth Search: Your iPhone will search for Bluetooth devices. Look for "carpuride(xxxx)" to pair.

Bluetooth Pairing Request: A prompt will appear asking to pair. Confirm the code displayed on both devices and click "Pair".

Allow Contacts and Favorites Sync: A prompt will ask if you want to allow syncing of contacts and favorites. Click "Allow" to proceed.

Use CarPlay: A prompt will appear to confirm using CarPlay with "carpuride(xxxx)". Click "Use CarPlay".

Activate CarPlay: CarPlay will now be activated on your W901 Pro.

WLAN Connection Notes for CarPlay:
- Initially, your mobile phone and the W901 Pro connect via Bluetooth. Subsequently, the mobile phone's WLAN connects to the W901 Pro via a low data channel. This process does not affect your mobile phone's normal internet access.
- After a successful CarPlay connection, the Bluetooth connection between your mobile phone and the W901 Pro will automatically disconnect. This is a normal operation and does not impact the device's usability.

Step 2: Connect W901 Pro to Car Stereo
To connect the W901 Pro to your car stereo, follow these steps:
- Access Transmission Interface: On the W901 Pro, navigate to the Bluetooth/FM Transmission interface.
- Select BT Transmission: Choose the "BT Transmit" option.
- Search and Connect: Search for the Bluetooth name of your car radio and click "Connect" to establish the link.

Important Notes:
- Do not connect your mobile phone's Bluetooth directly to your car radio's Bluetooth.
- Some car models may actively search for the W901 Pro's Bluetooth; please do not connect to it from the car's side. The connection must be initiated by the W901 Pro to ensure effective functionality with your car radio.
- After connecting to the car's Bluetooth, phone calls will be routed through the W901 Pro's speaker, not through your car's built-in speakers.
