Caution: Please be careful not to discard these parts!

This is a sustainable product. By making the capsule capsule-less, we are reducing plastic waste.

How to Play: 4 Steps

  1. Step 1: Take the capsule out of its packaging. It pops out like a machine!
  2. Step 2: Open the capsule to reveal the parts inside: metal bearing, shaft, and string.
  3. Step 3: Assemble the yo-yo by connecting the parts. Once assembled, it's ready to play!
  4. Step 4: When not in use, you can display your yo-yo!

Assembly Instructions

Main Body Assembly

  1. Insert the shaft into the center hole of one of the main body parts and twist clockwise to attach.
  2. Insert the bearing onto the shaft, then attach the other main body part by twisting.
  3. Spread the end of the string and loop it around the center bearing.

Base Assembly

  1. Align the two concave parts in the center of the base parts, push them together, and stand them up as shown in the illustration.

Completion: Apply the sticker to finish!

Use your unused yo-yo as a decoration!

Important Play Precautions

Spinner's Promise: Let's Play Hyper Yo-Yo by Following the Rules!

Note on Illustrations: The illustrations in this web manual may use images from the separately sold "Hyper Yo-Yo Accel Origin." However, the basic structure is largely the same as this product, "Hyper Yo-Yo Capsule." When playing with this product, follow the same holding, winding, and maintenance methods as shown in the illustrations.

String Maintenance

Check Before Playing!

The string is a consumable item. Always check the condition of the string before playing and replace it if it is damaged. The string may become damaged quickly depending on how you play. If the string becomes tangled or caught in the bearing or shaft, it may be damaged, so check thoroughly before playing and replace it promptly.

As shown in Figure 1, check that the tip of the string and the area around it are not caught anywhere when the yo-yo body is viewed from the side. As shown in the "X" image in Figure 2, if the string is caught in the bearing and the yo-yo is closed, it may break easily and is dangerous. As shown in the "O" image, the tip of the string should be securely caught on the bearing and not tangled.

Important:

When the String is Damaged

If the string is damaged, replace it according to the following procedure.

Caution when attaching: When attaching the string, always do so with the main body closed (when the yo-yo is not expanded).

How to Attach the String

  1. Removing the String: Pinch the string, rotate the yo-yo to reduce the twist, and then remove the string by sliding the loop off the yo-yo.
  2. Attaching the String:

Attaching the String

  1. Step 1: Spread the twist at the tip of the string to create a large loop.
  2. Step 2: Pass the yo-yo through the loop. For Accel Origin, use a single wrap.
  3. Step 3: Hang the yo-yo down and naturally rotate it to untwist the string.

String Length Adjustment Method

After attaching the string, adjust its length. If the string length is not adjusted to your body, the yo-yo may hit your body or the floor, making it difficult to play. As shown in Figure 1, hang the main body to the floor and cut the string about 10 cm above your belly button. (If the length is shorter than this point, you can use it as is.)

As shown in Figure 2, fold the tip of the cut string about 4 cm in half to create a loop.

Caution: Be careful not to injure yourself when using scissors.

Hyper Yo-Yo Play Methods

Master Basic Play in 2 Steps!

  1. Step 1: Attaching the Yo-Yo to Your Hand
    • Pass the string through the loop at the tip as shown in Figure 1.
    • Pass the string through the part indicated by the ★, between the first and second joints of your dominant hand's middle finger, up to the second joint.
    • Caution: Do not insert your finger directly into the loop at the tip. If the string comes off your finger while playing, the yo-yo may come off, which is dangerous.
  2. Step 2: Winding the String (Hook Winding)
    • As shown in Figure 2, hook the string onto your index finger, wind it around 2-3 times, then remove your index finger and wind all the string around in a spiral.

When the String Gets Tangled

How to Untangle

Hold one side of the yo-yo body firmly, and rotate the other side in the direction of the arrow to open the yo-yo. Remove the bearing inside, and once the tangled string is untangled, reassemble it.

Caution: There is a risk of injury, so do not touch the screw part.

Once the tangling is resolved, do not leave the main body closed with the screw part exposed on the floor.
