3.1 Installation of the Lighting Stand

Align and tighten the lighting stand onto the frame using two M5x8 screws. Connect the LED lighting cable. Route the LED lighting cable into the profile groove and secure it with the sealing tape.

3.2 Assembly of the Crane Frame

Place the crane frame assembly onto the base and secure it with four M5x45 screws aligned with the holes from the bottom.

3.3 Display Component Installation

Attach the screen bracket to the right profile side, aligning screw holes, and tighten with three M4X25 screws. Align the pins on the back of the screen with the large hole on the screen bracket and slide down to secure. Connect the display cable.

3.4 Filament and Cable Clamp Assembly Installation

Attach the filament spool holder and spool holder assembly as shown in the diagram. Align the front groove of the installed filament holder assembly with the profile's front groove and press firmly to secure it to the profile. Tighten the cable clamp on the rear panel of the X-axis motor.

3.5 Device Wiring

Connect the power cable. Connect the filament detection wire. Following the label instructions, insert the extruder cable into the cable clamp first, then connect the extruder cable. Connect the X-axis motor cable, Y-axis motor cable, Z-axis motor cables (Z1 and Z2), and the LED lighting cable. Ensure the power switch and power supply are in the correct position before connecting the power source. Select the correct voltage (115V for 100-120V mains, 230V for 200-240V mains).

3.6 Belt Pulley Tension Adjustment

Check belt pulley tension before operation. For the Z-axis pulley, gently rotate it to check if it spins freely or is locked. If locked, adjust the eccentric isolation column with the wrench to ensure smooth rotation.

4. Power-On Instructions and User Interface

The user interface includes several screens:

  • Home Page: Displays temperature settings for the nozzle and heated bed, allowing manual parameter adjustments.
  • Preparation: Allows control over axis movement, temperature settings, and fan speed for model cooling.
  • Print File Preview: Manages local and USB flash drive files. Multiple models can be selected and copied to a USB drive (up to 3 models).
  • Printing Interface: Shows print status, fan speed, print duration, and remaining time. The "Calibration" option can improve print quality.

System, network, and camera settings (optional) can be configured via the settings interface.

Customer Service: Access FAQs, manuals, and logs through the customer service interface.

5.1 Filament Assembly

To load filament: Heat the nozzle to the appropriate temperature (e.g., 240°C). Trim the filament end at a 45-degree angle. Gently press the extruder clamp, insert the straightened filament into the opening, and observe filament flow from the nozzle to ensure proper seating.

Manual Filament Replacement:

  1. Set the nozzle temperature according to the filament type (e.g., 185°C or higher). Press the extruder handle and push the filament down to extrude it. Quickly retract the filament to prevent it from getting stuck in the heat break.
  2. Mount the new filament onto the holder and repeat the extrusion steps.

5. First Print

5.2 LAN Printing

Install the Creality Print cutting software from the USB flash drive. Log in to the official website to download necessary installation information (www.crealitycloud.com/software-firmware/software?type=7).

The process involves selecting language and server, confirming nozzle diameter, adding the printer (via scan or manual IP entry), setting filament type, and adjusting layer height before slicing. After slicing, click "Print LAN".

5.3 USB Flash Drive Printing

Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port. Select the desired model from the USB drive. Click the "Print" button to start printing.

Caution:

  • Refer to the software manual on the USB flash drive for detailed usage instructions.
  • Save files in the root directory of the USB flash drive, not in subdirectories.
  • Use Latin letters, numbers, and standard characters for filenames.
  • Do not insert or remove the USB flash drive during printing.

6. Functional Specifications

7. Maintenance

7.1 Platform Disassembly and Maintenance

After printing, wait for the platform to cool down, then remove the platform with the model. Gently flex the platform with both hands to detach the model. If residue remains, gently scrape it with a blade and print again. If the first layer does not adhere well, apply an even layer of permanent adhesive to the platform surface before heating for printing.

Tips: Avoid excessive flexing of the platform during daily use to prevent deformation. The print platform is a consumable part; regular replacement is recommended for optimal first-layer adhesion.

7.2 Screw Rod and Guide Rail Maintenance

Regularly lubricate the screw rods and guide rails with grease. Lubrication areas are indicated for the Z-axis screw rod and the X and Y-axis guide rails.
