1. Important Safety Instructions

General Safety:

  • Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Use the appliance only as described in the user manual. Other uses may cause fire, electrical shock, or personal injury.
  • Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities can use this appliance if given supervision or instruction on safe use and understanding of hazards.

Operation Safety:

  • Place on a flat, dry surface before use.
  • Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the base is installed before use.
  • Do not insert fingers, pencils, or other objects into the grilles during operation.
  • Do not dismantle, repair, or modify. Servicing should be performed by qualified personnel.

Electricity Safety:

  • Ensure supply voltage matches the appliance's rating.
  • Always unplug before cleaning or leaving unused. Keep hands dry.

2. Assembling Your Tower Fan

Follow these steps to assemble the fan:

  1. Place the two base halves upside down. Hold them in a crossed position, then insert the pegs on one half onto the slots on the other half.
  2. Press down on the joint areas to click the two base halves together.
  3. Remove the screw nut on the bottom of the fan by rotating it counterclockwise.
  4. Fit the base onto the fan and secure by screwing the nut back on.
  5. Put the fan upright, then plug the power adapter into the power input (at the back of the fan) and into the power outlet.

CAUTION: Do not operate the tower fan if the base has not been installed.

3. Connecting to Your Tower Fan

To connect your smart tower fan to a mobile device:

  1. Scan the QR code provided or visit your app store and search for "Dreo" to download the app.
  2. Launch the Dreo app and sign in or create an account.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and plug in your tower fan.
  4. Tap "+ Add Device" and select your tower fan.
  5. Hold the Oscillation button ? for 5 seconds to start WiFi connection settings. (The WiFi icon will flash during pairing.)
  6. Follow in-app instructions to complete WiFi connection.

You can use the Dreo app to connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Follow in-app instructions to set up your voice assistant. Note: A Dreo account is required for voice assistants.

4. Knowing Your Tower Fan

Control Panel:

  • Power Button ?: Turn power on/off.
  • Mode Button ⚙️: Switch between Normal, Natural, Sleep, Auto Mode. Long press to mute/unmute.
  • Oscillation Button ?: Select to start/pause oscillating. Long press for 5 seconds to start network settings and device pairing.
  • Decrease Button (-): Decrease fan speed (1-12 levels).
  • Increase Button (+): Increase fan speed (1-12 levels).
  • Timer Button ⏰: Select to set a timer (0-12h).

LED Display: Shows current mode, fan speed, and timer settings. Features auto-brightness adapting to ambient lighting.

Getting the Most out of Your Tower Fan:

  1. It is not an air conditioner.
  2. Remove tall obstacles blocking airflow.
  3. Combine with your AC unit for cooler air.
  4. Position the fan closer for more direct airflow.
  5. Place a bucket of ice in front for extra cooling.

5. Using Your Tower Fan

General Operations:

  1. Touch to turn on and choose a working mode.
  2. Touch (+) or (-) to adjust airflow volume.
  3. Touch to change airflow direction.
  4. Touch to set a timer.
  5. Touch to turn off the tower fan.

Working Modes:

  • Sleep Mode ?: Fan speed decreases every 30 minutes.
  • Auto Mode ?: Fan speed adapts to ambient temperature.
  • Normal Mode ?: Fan runs at constant speed.
  • Natural Mode ?: Fan runs at alternating speeds.

Additional Features:

  • Oscillation Angle ?: Set to 30/60/90/120 degrees via the Dreo app.
  • Timer ⏰: Set from 1 to 12 hours. Auto-off timer can be cancelled by setting to 0 hour.
  • Mute ?: Short press mute button on remote, or long press mode button on control panel to turn button sounds on/off.
  • Memory Function: Remembers last settings (temperature, mode, oscillation) after power off.
  • 24-Hour Auto Shut Off: Shuts off automatically after 24 hours of continuous operation without input.
  • Tip-Over Protection: Shuts off automatically if tipped over. Place on a stable surface to reset.
  • Overheat Protection: Shuts off if ambient temperature exceeds 122°F. Unplug and replug when temperature drops.

Battery Replacement (Remote Control)

Replace battery with the same type (CR2025 3V), (+) side facing up. Push holder until securely locked.

WARNING: Chemical Burn Hazard. Keep batteries away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Outer Surface: Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Base: Can be disassembled in reverse order of assembly.

Rear Grille: Remove screw, lift grille, clean dust with vacuum or air duster. Rinse grille under running water or with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before reinstalling.

CAUTION: Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Do not immerse in water or get water inside the motor housing. Do not use chemical agents.

7. Troubleshooting

My fan won't turn on!

  • Ensure cord is connected to a powered outlet and voltage matches.
  • Check if the power adapter is securely inserted.
  • Protection may have activated; unplug for 10 seconds before replugging.

My fan is shaky and wobbling!

  • Place fan on a flat, level surface.
  • Check assembly instructions (Page 3-4).

My fan is making vibration and noise!

  • Place fan on a flat, level surface.
  • Ensure nothing is inserted into the air inlet/outlet.

Malfunction Codes on LED Display:

1. Important Safety Instructions

Read and follow all safety information and instructions. For household use only.

  • Read all instructions before using.
  • Heater is hot when in use; avoid touching hot surfaces. Use handles when moving. Keep combustible materials (furniture, bedding, clothes, curtains) at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from the front, sides, and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when used by or near children or invalids, or when left unattended.
  • Always unplug when not in use.
  • Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, or after malfunction, dropping, or damage. Discard or return for repair.
  • Do not use outdoors. Not intended for bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations. Never locate where it may fall into water.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting or coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic areas.
  • To disconnect, turn controls off and remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into ventilation or exhaust openings.
  • Do not block air intakes or exhaust. Do not use on soft surfaces like beds where openings may become blocked.
  • Heater has hot and sparking parts; do not use in areas with gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Other uses may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Always plug directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or power strip.
  • If plug fits loosely or becomes very hot, the socket may need replacement by a qualified electrician.
  • It is normal for the plug and cord to feel warm. If they become hot or distorted, the outlet may be worn and needs replacement.
  • Heater output and temperature can be hot enough to burn exposed skin. Not recommended for persons with high heat sensitivity or inability to react to burns.
  • Ensure the heater is on a stable, secure surface to prevent tipping.
  • Remove all polystyrene or packaging material before use.
  • Do not attempt to modify or repair yourself; only a repair technician may do so.
  • Choking hazard: Remote control contains a small battery. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
  • If the machine is not working, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and contact Customer Support.
  • NOTE: A trace of smoke or odor may occur on first use due to manufacturing oil; it will evaporate.
  • IMPORTANT: Appliance has a polarized plug. If it does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

DANGER: High temperatures may be generated under certain abnormal conditions. Do not partially or fully cover or obstruct the front of this heater.

2. Using Your Heater

Operations and Functions:

Place the heater on a firm, level surface, at least 3ft. (0.9m) from walls or combustible material. Plug into a 120V AC outlet. The unit enters standby mode with a beep and red power indicator.

  • Power ON/OFF ?: Red indicator lights up when on. Press to turn on with default settings (95°F, High heat). Press again to turn off (15-second countdown).
  • Mode / Heat Level Settings ⚙️: Cycle through High (HI) -> Low (LO) -> ECO -> High (HI).
  • ECO Mode: Adjusts working mode (High/Low) automatically based on ambient temperature. Temperature can be adjusted manually with or . "ECO" lights up on display when selected. Heater stops when set temperature is reached.
  • Mute / Unmute ?: Hold on heater for 3 seconds, or press button on remote to toggle buzzer.

Temperature Adjustment ?️: Press + or - to adjust temperature from 41 to 95°F in 1°F increments. Heater stops when set temperature is reached. Resumes when ambient temperature drops below set temperature.

Oscillation Button ?: Press to start oscillating. Press again to stop.

Auto OFF Timer ⏰: Cycle through 00 -> 01 -> ... -> 12 hours. Unit stops when time is up. Cancel by setting to 00 or holding for 3 seconds.

Auto LED Display OFF: Display turns off automatically after 1 minute of no operation (only power indicator and mode light remain on). Press any button to wake it up.

Other Features:

  • Memory Function: Remembers last settings (temperature, working mode, oscillation status) after power off.
  • 24-Hour Auto Shut Off: Shuts off automatically after 24 hours of continuous operation without input.
  • Tip-Over Protection: Shuts off automatically if tipped over (malfunction code "P4"). Place on a flat, level, stable surface to reset.
  • Overheat Protection: Shuts off if ambient temperature is above 122°F (malfunction code "FF"). Unplug and replug when temperature drops below 122°F.

Replacement of Battery in Remote Control

Note: If the indicator on the remote control doesn't turn on, consider replacing the battery.

Press the locking button to pop out the battery holder. Replace with the same type (CR2025 3V), (+) side facing up. Push in the holder until securely locked.

Caution: Chemical Burn and Choking Hazard. Keep batteries away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance

Recommended to clean at least once during the operating season and before off-season storage.

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning.

  • Turn heater OFF, unplug, and wait for it to cool down.
  • Use only a soft cloth to wipe outer surfaces.
  • Do not use cleaning agents or detergents.
  • Never immerse in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing, heating element, or switches.
  • For storage, keep covered in a cool, dry location, arranging the cable away from traffic areas.

Caution: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Carefully fold the power supply cord, tie it up, and place the heater in its packing box or a cabinet away from hot or wet locations.
