01 Important Safety Instructions
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS. KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving.
- Keep combustible materials (furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, curtains) at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front and away from sides/rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when used by or near children or invalids, or when left unattended.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord/plug or if the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged. Discard or return for repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Not intended for bathrooms, laundry areas, or near bathtubs/water containers.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting, rugs, or furniture. Arrange cord away from traffic areas.
- To disconnect, turn controls off, then remove the plug.
- Do not insert foreign objects into ventilation or exhaust openings.
- Do not block air intakes or exhaust. Do not use on soft surfaces (like beds) where openings may become blocked.
- Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use only as described in this manual.
- Always plug directly into a wall outlet. Never use with an extension cord or power strip.
- If the plug has a loose fit or becomes very hot, the socket may need replacement by a qualified electrician.
Additional Safety Notes:
- It is normal for the plug and cord to feel warm. A hot or distorted plug/cord may indicate a worn electrical outlet.
- The heater's output can vary and become hot enough to burn skin. Not recommended for those with high heat sensitivity or inability to react to burns.
- Ensure the heater is on a stable, secure surface to prevent tipping.
- Remove any packaging material (like polystyrene) from the appliance before use.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the product yourself; this voids the warranty and can cause damage or injury. Only authorized technicians should perform repairs.
- [Warning] The remote control contains a small battery. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.
- If the machine is not working correctly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or submerged in water, do not use it and contact Customer Support.
- [Note] A trace of smoke or odor during initial operation may occur due to manufacturing oil on the heating coil; it will evaporate.
- [IMPORTANT] The appliance has a polarized plug. Insert only one way into a polarized outlet. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician.
- [DANGER] High temperatures can be generated. Do not partially or fully cover or obstruct the front of the heater.
