Important Safety Instructions
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS. KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving. Keep combustible materials (furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, curtains) at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front and away from sides/rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids, or when left operating unattended.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged. Discard or return to an authorized service facility.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations. Never locate it where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting, cover with rugs, or route under furniture/appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas to prevent tripping.
- To disconnect, turn controls to OFF, then remove the plug from the outlet.
- Do not insert foreign objects into ventilation or exhaust openings, as this may cause electric shock, fire, or damage.
- To prevent fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust. Do not use on soft surfaces like beds where openings may become blocked.
- Heaters have hot and arcing parts. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Other uses may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or power strip.
- A loose fitting outlet can cause the plug to overheat or cause a fire. Ensure the plug fits tightly. If the plug or socket is loose, or the plug becomes hot, the socket may need replacement by a qualified electrician.
- It is normal for the plug and cord to feel warm. If they become hot or distorted, the outlet may be worn and should be replaced.
- The heater's output and temperature may become hot enough to burn exposed skin. Use is not recommended for persons with high heat sensitivity or inability to react to avoid burns.
- Ensure the heater is on a stable, secure surface to prevent tipping.
- Make sure no packaging material is left between the appliance's elements. Use a vacuum cleaner if necessary.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the product yourself; this voids the warranty and can cause damage or injury. Only a repair technician may disassemble or repair.
- Choking Hazard: The remote control contains a small battery. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
- If the machine is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and contact Customer Support.
- NOTE: A trace of smoke or odor may occur on first use due to manufacturing oil on the heating coil; it will evaporate and should not re-occur.
- IMPORTANT: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce electric shock risk, it fits only one way in a polarized outlet. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature.
DANGER: High temperatures may be generated under certain abnormal conditions. Do not partially or fully cover or obstruct the front of this heater.

Cleaning and Maintenance
It is recommended to clean the heater at least once during the operating season and before off-season storage for optimal performance.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply by switching it off and removing the plug before cleaning.
- Turn the heater OFF, unplug it, and wait for it to cool down.

- For storage, cover the heater to protect it from dust. Store in a cool, dry location and arrange the cable away from traffic areas to prevent tripping or damage.
Caution:
- Do not allow water to enter the heater's interior, as this could cause a fire or electric shock hazard.
- Any servicing other than cleaning should be performed by an authorized service representative.
- Carefully fold the power supply cord, tie it up, and place the heater in its packing box. Store in a cabinet away from hot or wet locations.
