Features
- Control with up to 8 functions.
- Synchronization with up to 8 TX1500 controls, allowing multiple users to control the same equipment.
- The TX1500 control can command various devices.
- Easy synchronization of new controls.
- Internal memory with pre-defined market models, plus the "LEARN" function for programming market controls.
- Low battery indicator on the remote.
Central Installation
The central unit can be installed in a discreet or visible location for monitoring its LED INDICATOR. Ensure the antenna is not blocked by the car's bodywork or metal parts, as these act as a barrier to radio frequency transmissions. Position the antenna at the edge of a window or inside compartments.
- Power cables are polarized. Connect the white wire (+12V) to the battery positive and the black wire (GND) to the negative. Connection can be made to a car battery, a 9V battery, or a USB port.
- The IR TRANSMITTER must be fixed inside the car, pointing towards the radio/player panel to be controlled. Ensure there are no obstacles between them.
Control Synchronization
The control that comes with the central unit is pre-registered from the factory. You can register new controls or re-synchronize already registered controls in case of communication problems. A single RX1500 central unit allows registration of up to 8 TX1500 controls.
Before synchronizing, ensure no other controls are within the central unit's range that you do not wish to register, as they may interfere with the process.
Synchronizing New Controls:
- Press the SYNC button on the RX1500 central unit. The central unit's LED INDICATOR will start blinking.
- Press any button on the TX1500 control (except the POWER button).
- Synchronization is complete, and the LED INDICATOR will turn off.
To synchronize more controls (maximum 8), repeat the previous steps. If the number of synchronizations exceeds 8, the new control will overwrite the first one synchronized, and so on. You can also remove the synchronization of individual controls or all controls at once.
Removing Synchronized Controls:
- Press the SYNC button on the RX1500 central unit. The central unit's LED INDICATOR will start blinking.
- Press the POWER button of the control you wish to remove. The control will be excluded, and the LED INDICATOR will turn off.
Removing All Synchronized Controls:
- Press the SYNC button on the RX1500 central unit. The central unit's LED INDICATOR will start blinking.
- Then, press the LRN button on the RX1500 central unit. The LED INDICATOR will blink faster.
- All control registrations will be deleted, and the LED INDICATOR will turn off.
Control Programming
For the remote control to function perfectly with your radio/player, you need to select a configuration compatible with your device model. This can be done in two ways:
Direct Mode
Allows choosing a pre-programmed setting from memory, compatible with various devices.
Learn Mode
Allows manually copying commands from the original device's remote.
Direct Mode:
- Check your device's code in the CODE TABLE (at the end of this manual).
- Press the LRN button on the RX1500 central unit. The central unit's LED INDICATOR will start blinking.
- Press the SYNC button on the RX1500 central unit. The LED INDICATOR will blink faster.
- On the TX1500 remote, press the first button from the table corresponding to the desired device. The LED INDICATOR will briefly turn off and then blink rapidly again.
- Press the second button from the table. The LED INDICATOR will turn off. Your central unit will be programmed for the chosen device.
Learn Mode:
- Press the LRN button on the RX1500 central unit. The LED INDICATOR will start blinking.
- On the TX1500 remote, press the button you wish to configure. The remote's INDICATOR will briefly turn off and then blink again.
- Point the original device's remote at the RX1500 central unit's IR RECEIVER and press the button you wish to copy. If the command recording is successful, the LED INDICATOR will briefly turn off and blink again.
This step may experience interference from external lights. If this occurs, the central unit will detect the failure and blink the LED INDICATOR rapidly instead of turning off, then it will briefly turn off and return to step 2 with the LED INDICATOR blinking.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all buttons you wish to program. If any button is programmed incorrectly, repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times as necessary. To exit LEARN MODE, press the LRN button on the RX1500 central unit.
Choose a dimly lit environment, preferably away from fluorescent lighting or inside the vehicle, as external light may interfere with the Central's IR RECEIVER. Plasma screens are also strong sources of interference.
Mixing Modes
The RX1500 central unit allows mixing functions from DIRECT MODE with LEARN MODE. This means you can load a configuration from memory and change some buttons without affecting the others. The process is simple:
- Follow the DIRECT MODE steps to load the desired device from the table into memory.
- Follow the LEARN MODE steps to program the desired buttons/functions.
Whenever LEARN MODE is performed, buttons that are not reprogrammed will continue to execute their previously programmed functions.
Factory Reset
Hold down the RESET button for 5 seconds. The LED INDICATOR will blink, and factory settings will be restored. Synchronization will be maintained.
Multi-Use of TX1500 Control
It is possible to use a single TX1500 control to simultaneously operate multiple devices. To use this function, the control must be synchronized with the RX1500 central units of each device, following the instructions in "Control Synchronization". Each RX1500 central unit must be configured according to your device, following the instructions in "Control Programming".
Troubleshooting
Invalid Transmission Pattern:
During the use of LEARN MODE, some information may be recorded incorrectly due to environmental light interference or another control transmitting within the central unit's range. In this case, the central unit will not transmit the command related to that button to the device and will keep the LED INDICATOR on for 2 seconds. To resolve this, reconfigure your control in LEARN MODE for the problematic buttons.
TX1500 Control Does Not Control My Equipment:
Although the TX1500 has the LEARN function to accommodate devices not previously registered in memory, some original control brands and models may not be recognized.
Low Battery Indication:
When releasing any button on the TX1500 control, the control's LED INDICATOR will remain on for 1 second. We recommend replacing the battery (model A23 12V) with a new one for maximum transmission efficiency. The control has an auto-off system if any button is pressed for more than 10 seconds, preventing undue battery consumption. When the button is released, the system returns to normal operation.
Replacing the Control Battery
- Remove the silicone cover (if applicable) and release the front cover latches with the help of a tool.
- Remove the old battery and dispose of it in an appropriate battery disposal location.
- Install the new battery (model A23 12V) in the metal holders, ensuring correct polarity. With the battery replaced, fit the control buttons into the front cover and apply pressure to the latches to close the control.
