How to Wear
- Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears and twist them to secure a comfortable and stable fit.
First Time Use
- Remove the protective film from the earbuds.
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case to activate them.
Power On & Connect
- The earbuds automatically power on when removed from the charging case.
- For Android™ 6.0+ users: Your device will detect the JBL Vibe Beam earbuds and prompt you to pair via Google Fast Pair. Tap to pair, and the device will be tied to your Google Account.
- For other devices: Go to your device's Bluetooth settings, ensure Bluetooth is ON, and select "JBL VIBE BEAM" from the list of available devices to connect.
Dual Connect
The JBL Vibe Beam earbuds support Dual Connect, allowing you to use them in two modes:
- Stereo Mode: Use both the Left (L) and Right (R) earbuds for a full stereo audio experience.
- Mono Mode: Use either the Left (L) or Right (R) earbud independently for mono audio.

VoiceAware
VoiceAware allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear during calls. You can adjust the VoiceAware level (Low, Mid, High) via the JBL Headphones app for a more natural conversation experience.
Power Off
To power off the earbuds, place them back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will automatically disconnect and power off.
Manual Setup
Connect to a New Bluetooth Device
To connect to a new Bluetooth device, ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode (indicated by blue LED). Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "JBL VIBE BEAM".
Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset, place both earbuds in the charging case. Then, tap and hold the touch control area on both earbuds for 5 seconds until the LED indicators flash, indicating a reset.
Do More with the App
The JBL Headphones app unlocks additional features and customization options:
- Ambient Sound Control: Toggle between Ambient Aware (to hear your surroundings) and TalkThru (to lower music volume and amplify voices for conversations).
- Equalizer: Customize your audio profile with preset options like Jazz, Vocal, Bass, Extreme Bass, or create your own custom equalizer settings.
- Customized Gestures: Reassign tap and hold functions for volume control, track navigation, and voice assistant activation.
- Call Control: Manage call functions directly from the app.
Charging
Charge the earbuds by placing them in the charging case. The case itself is charged via a USB-C cable.
- A full charge for the earbuds takes approximately 2 hours.
- A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of music playtime.

Important Information
Battery Lifespan Warning
To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge the earbuds and case at least once every 3 months. Battery life varies by use and settings.
RF Exposure Information and Statement
This equipment complies with Directive 2014/53/EU radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. End users must follow specific operating instructions for RF exposure compliance. The device was tested for typical bodily operations where the product was kept 0 mm from the head. To maintain compliance with IC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a separation distance of 0mm between the user's head and the back of the headset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories shall not contain metal parts in its assembly. Use of accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with IC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. The highest SAR value reported during product certification for head use is 1.16W/kg (Canada) and 0.221W/kg (EU) when properly worn on the head.
