Get even more control and personalization of your listening experience with the free JBL Headphones app. Search for "JBL HEADPHONES" on your app store.
How to Wear
- Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance. To change ear tips, gently pull off the existing tip and push on the new one.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears and twist them gently to secure them in place.
First Time Use
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case to activate them for the first time.
Power On & Connect
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
- Bluetooth Pairing:
- For Other Devices: Select "JBL Vibe Beam 2" from your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.
- For Android™ Devices: JBL Vibe Beam 2 will appear on devices linked with your Google account via Fast Pair. Compatible with Android phones running version 6 or higher.
- For Windows 10 v1803+ Devices: A notification "New JBL Vibe Beam 2 found" will appear. Select "Connect" via Microsoft Swift Pair.
Dual Connect
The JBL Vibe Beam 2 supports two listening modes:
- Stereo Mode: Use both left (L) and right (R) earbuds for a full stereo experience.
- Mono Mode: Use either the left (L) or right (R) earbud independently.
Multi-Point Connection
Connect your JBL Vibe Beam 2 to a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously (e.g., a phone and a tablet). To switch between devices, tap the earbud once (Tap × 1) or hold for 5 seconds (Hold 5s).

Advanced controls can be enabled by connecting your JBL Vibe Beam 2 to the JBL Headphones app.

VoiceAware
VoiceAware allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear during calls. Adjust the level (Low, Mid, High) within the JBL Headphones app.
The app also provides options for Left/Right Sound Balance, Max Volume Limiter, and Equalizer presets (Jazz, Vocal, Bass, Extreme Bass) or custom equalization.
Power Off
To power off the earbuds, place them back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will automatically disconnect and power down.
Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset:
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
- Tap either earbud twice (Tap × 2) and then hold for 5 seconds (Hold 5s).
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case. This will reset them to their factory settings.
Do More with the App
The JBL Headphones app offers extensive customization and control:
- Gestures: Customize tap and hold actions for Noise Cancelling, Ambient Aware, TalkThru, and voice assistant activation (Siri®, Bixby, etc.).
- Equalizer: Adjust audio settings with presets like Jazz, Vocal, Bass, Extreme Bass, or create custom equalizer profiles.
- Smart Audio & Video: Optimize your listening experience for audio or video modes.
- Call Control: Manage call settings and accessibility.
Charging
Charge the earbuds by placing them in the charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the case and a power source.
- A full charge for the case takes approximately 2 hours.
- A 10-minute quick charge provides up to 3 hours of music playtime.
