How to Wear

Step 1: Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) to find the perfect fit for optimal comfort and audio performance.

Step 2: Insert the earbuds into your ears, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. For best results, gently twist the earbud until it sits snugly in your ear canal.

First Time Use

Step 1: Remove any protective tape from the earbuds.

Step 2: Place the earbuds into the charging case.

Power On & Connect

Step 1: Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on automatically and enter pairing mode.

Step 2: On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.

• For Android™ 6.0+: Use Fast Pair. A pop-up will appear; select 'JBL VIBE BEAM' to pair. The device will be tied to your Google Account.
• For Other Devices: Go to your device's Bluetooth settings, find 'JBL VIBE BEAM' in the list of available devices, and select it to connect.

Dual Connect

You can use the earbuds in two modes:

• Stereo Mode: Use both the left and right earbuds for an immersive audio experience.
• Mono Mode: Use either the left or right earbud individually for calls or music.

Controls

Control your music, calls, and voice assistant with simple taps and holds.

Left Earbud

• Tap x 1: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call
• Tap x 2: Next track
• Tap x 3: Previous track
• Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others)

Right Earbud

• Tap x 1: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call
• Tap x 2: Next track
• Tap x 3: Previous track
• Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others)

*Enable advanced controls and features by connecting your JBL VIBE BEAM to the JBL Headphones App.

VoiceAware

VoiceAware allows you to control how much ambient sound you hear, so you can stay aware of your surroundings while listening to your audio.

Power Off

To power off the earbuds, simply place them back into the charging case.

Manual Setup

Connect to a new Bluetooth device: If the earbuds do not automatically connect, follow the pairing steps in the 'Power On & Connect' section.

Factory Reset: To reset the earbuds to factory settings, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the case open, and press and hold the earbuds for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicators flash (refer to specific instructions if available, as diagrams can be ambiguous).

The JBL Headphones app offers advanced customization options, including:

• Ambient Sound Control (Ambient Aware, TalkThru)
• Equalizer settings
• Customizable gestures
• Voice assistant settings

Charging

To charge the earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case. The case will charge the earbuds.

To charge the case: Connect the charging case to a USB-C power source using the provided cable.

• Charging Time: Less than 2 hours from empty.
• Quick Charge: 10 minutes of charging provides approximately 2 hours of music playback.

Earbud LEDs:

• (White) Charging
• (White) Fully Charged
• (Blue) BT Connecting
• (Blue) BT Connected
• (Blue) BT Not Connected

Charging Case LEDs:

• (Red) Low battery
• (Orange) Mid battery
• (Green) High battery
• (Red → Orange → Green) Charging
• (Off) Fully Charged
