Introduction
This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your IKEA PAX wardrobe. Please read through all instructions before beginning assembly. Ensure you have all parts and tools listed.
Tools Required:
- ? Phillips head screwdriver
- ? Flathead screwdriver
- ? Hammer
- ? Spirit level

⚠️ For safety, it is recommended that two people assemble this product.

Assembly Steps
Step 1
Lay out the main panels. Insert 24x dowels (101375) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the panels as shown.

Step 2
Attach the side panels to the base panel. Insert 24x cam lock screws (118331) into the designated holes on the side panels. Align these with the corresponding holes on the base panel and tighten.

Step 3
Continue attaching side panels. Insert 6x cam lock screws (118331) into the designated holes on the side panels and attach them to the base panel.

Step 4
Attach the top panel. Insert 1x cam lock screw (118331) into the top panel and secure it to the side panels.

Step 5
Attach the remaining side panels. Insert 2x cam lock screws (118331) into the side panels and secure them to the base structure.

Step 6
Attach the hanging rail bracket. Insert 2x screws (130718) through the bracket (195701) and into the side panel.

Step 7
Attach more vertical panels. Insert panels into the structure, aligning them with pre-drilled holes.

Step 8
Attach another vertical panel. Insert the panel into the structure.

Step 9
Secure the structure with cam lock nuts. Insert 2x cam lock nuts (100751) into the designated holes and turn them to lock the panels in place. Use a hammer to gently tap them in if needed.

Step 10
Attach the base connectors. Insert 2x base connectors (110618) and 1x base connector (110617) into the base of the wardrobe. Use a hammer to tap the screw part (110618) into the base connector (110617) with a 'click'. Then screw them into the base panel.

Step 11
Attach more vertical panels. Insert panels into the structure, aligning them with pre-drilled holes.

Step 12
Insert 6x dowels (101375) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the shelf panels.

Insert 4x dowels (101375) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the shelf panels.

Step 14
Attach the shelf panels. Align the dowels with the holes in the side panels and press firmly.

Step 15
Insert 24x shelf supports (113434) into the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the wardrobe panels at the desired shelf heights.

Step 16
Attach more vertical panels. Insert panels into the structure, aligning them with pre-drilled holes. Secure with fasteners.

Step 17
Attach the back panels. Slide the back panels into the grooves on the rear of the wardrobe frame.

Continue attaching the back panels. Ensure they are fully seated in the grooves.

Step 19
Secure the back panels. Use the provided connectors and screws to fasten the back panels to the wardrobe frame.

Step 20
Insert 12x shelf supports (113434) into the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the wardrobe panels at the desired shelf heights.

Step 21
Attach the final back panel connectors. Insert 3x connectors (119030 / 120076) and secure them.

Step 22
Attach the feet. Insert 2x feet (110519) into the bottom of the wardrobe. Use a hammer to tap the screw part (110519) into the base connector with a 'click'. Then screw them into the base panel.

Step 23
Attach 16x connectors (10093081 and 10093082) to the base of the wardrobe as shown. These are used to secure the base structure.

Step 24
Carefully position the wardrobe upright. This step may require two people.

Step 25
⚠️ It is crucial to secure the wardrobe to the wall to prevent tipping. Use appropriate wall-mounting hardware (not included) for your wall type. The diagram shows the general placement for wall attachment.

Step 26
Attach the remaining feet. Insert 2x feet (122972 / 115345) into the bottom of the wardrobe as shown.

Step 27
Drill pilot holes for wall mounting. Use a 5 mm (1/4") drill bit to drill 4x holes in the wall at the marked positions, corresponding to the wardrobe's mounting points.

Step 28
Final securing. Attach 4x fasteners (100644 and 100402) to secure the wardrobe to the wall through the pre-drilled holes.
