Components and Hardware
This guide details the assembly of your IKEA PAX wardrobe. It utilizes various components and hardware, including frame parts, sliding door tracks, runners, hinges, doors, and numerous screws and fasteners. Specific part numbers and quantities are indicated in each step.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Top Rails
Align and attach the top horizontal rails to the top of the two wardrobe frames. Ensure correct orientation as indicated by numbered markers on the rails.
[ℹ️] Use the provided Allen key (10095216) for initial fastening. Vertical adjustment points are indicated.
Step 2: Install Vertical Brackets
Attach the vertical support brackets to the side panels of the wardrobe frames using screws (114667). Ensure correct alignment as shown by the warning symbol [⚠️].
Step 3: Mount Top Sliding Door Track
Attach the top sliding door track to the top edge of the wardrobe frames. Arrows indicate the direction of attachment.
Step 4: Mount Bottom Sliding Door Track
Attach the bottom sliding door track to the base of the wardrobe frames. Use screws (109590) and associated brackets.
Step 5: Secure Internal Components
Attach internal components to the side panels using 4x screws (110438).
Step 6: Install Bottom Runner Mechanism
Install the bottom sliding door runner mechanism onto the base of the wardrobe. A hand icon indicates manual placement. Ensure it clicks into place [Click!].
Step 7: Secure Bottom Runner Mechanism
Secure the installed bottom runner mechanism using 2x screws (109590).
Step 8: Attach Base Components
Attach components to the base of the wardrobe frame using 4x screws (110438).
Step 9: Assemble Sliding Door Frame
Assemble the frame for the sliding doors. Connect the frame pieces and secure them using screws (10095216).
Step 10: Attach Door Wheels
Attach the wheels to the assembled sliding door frame. Use 2x components (10055207) and screws (10067213).
Step 11: Attach Door Brackets
Attach brackets to the sliding door frame. Use 2x components (10055037) and screws (10067213).
Step 12: Prepare for Door Installation
Prepare the sliding door frames for installation. This step shows the assembled door frames ready for mounting.
Step 13: Hang Sliding Doors
Carefully hang the assembled sliding doors onto the top track. A hand icon guides the placement.
Step 14: Secure Bottom Runners (Door 1)
Align the first sliding door with the bottom runner mechanism. Ensure it clicks into place [Click!].
Step 15: Secure Bottom Runners (Door 2)
Align the second sliding door with the bottom runner mechanism. Ensure it clicks into place [Click!].
Step 16: Adjust Door Height and Alignment
Adjust the height and alignment of the sliding doors by turning the adjustment screws on the top and bottom mechanisms.
Step 17: Install Internal Shelf Supports
Attach internal shelf support components to the side panels using 4x parts (10100795, 10100772, 10100796).
Step 18: Install Base Kick Plates
Slide the base kick plates into position at the bottom front of the wardrobe. Arrows indicate insertion direction. The diagram shows how the kick plate fits flush with the base.
Step 19: Attach Door Guides
Attach door guide components to the wardrobe frame using 2x parts (10055702, 10059666, 10059649). The diagram shows how these parts align and secure.
Step 20: Install Sliding Doors (Second Unit/Set)
Install the sliding doors by sliding them into the top track. Arrows indicate movement.

Step 28: Adjust Door Height and Alignment (Second Set)
Adjust the height and alignment of the second set of sliding doors by turning the adjustment screws.

Attach internal shelf support components to the side panels of the second wardrobe unit using 4x parts (10100795, 10100772, 10100796).
Step 30: Install Base Kick Plates (Second Wardrobe)
