Charging
The PS3600 PRO can be charged using various methods:
Solar Panel Charging
- Connect solar panels to the XT90 input port using the provided XT90 to 50A Anderson adapter.
- Supports a maximum solar input of 2000W and a voltage of 160V.
- Ensure no regulator is in the line; use unregulated solar power.
- Connecting Pattern 1: Connect one solar panel.
- Connecting Pattern 2: Connect up to two solar panels in series or parallel.
AC Charger Charging
- Use the provided AC charger for fast charging.
- Fully charges the unit in approximately 2 hours.
- Connect to the AC 240V input port.
Car/Vehicle Charging
- Use the provided car charger cable connected to the XT90 input port.
- Car chargers typically provide 90-120W, resulting in longer charging times.
- For faster charging, use the AC adapter.
UPS Mode
The PS3600 PRO features a bypass function, allowing power to be drawn directly from the AC output without passing through the battery. In case of a power outage, it switches to battery power within 10ms to protect connected appliances.
- Maximum power output in UPS mode is 2600W.
- An AC overload symbol will illuminate if the output exceeds 2600W in UPS mode.
EB3840 Connection
The PS3600 PRO can be connected in parallel with up to two EB3840 units (sold separately) for expanded capacity (up to 11,520Wh).
- Ensure both units are powered off before connecting with parallel cables.
- After connection, "S1" and "S2" will be displayed on the screen.
- The unit with a higher charge will charge the unit with a lower charge if no incoming charge is present.
- WARNING: Do not connect or disconnect parallel cables while the unit is powered ON.
Fault Resolution
This section outlines common issues and their resolutions:
Status | Explanation | Resolution |
---|---|---|
Above icon flashes and buzzes | The output exceeds the standard and it's short-circuited. | 1. Remove the output device. 2. Check if the overload protector is activated. If so, press the overload protection button, then the AC output button. 3. If not activated, press the AC output button to restore function. |
Temperature warning icon flashes and buzzes | The PS3600 PRO has surpassed the recommended temperature limit. | Remove all loads, disconnect the power source, and allow the unit to cool to an appropriate temperature (between -10°C to 40°C) before proceeding. |
Charging unavailable | Bad wire connection. | Verify the connection status of the power line and power supply to ensure they are properly connected. |
