I. Download Surplife APP

Download the "Surplife" APP from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, or scan the QR code provided.

II. How to connect the controller to Wi-Fi network?

1. Register/Login to your Surplife account.
2. Open your phone's Bluetooth and turn on the device.
3. Enter the "Surplife" app, tap "Add Device" or click the '+' icon to add the device.
4. Select your Wi-Fi network (Note: This function only works with 2.4GHz networks). Enter the password.
5. Subsequently, you can modify the device name and select the room after successfully connecting to Wi-Fi.

III. APP FUNCTION DETAILS

1) Colorful Function

Provides 16 million colors to choose from. Click '+' in the lower right corner to add different color choices.

You can adjust the brightness.

2) Lighting Effects

Long press the mode effect to create a new custom effect mode, select different colors and lighting effects. Click the settings icon below to adjust the brightness and speed of the light.

You can select different light effect modes and adjust the speed, brightness, density, or length of the mode.

3) Paint function

Single-frame smudge: Allows for single-frame animation smudging with rich animation settings.

The application interface displays the application effect in real-time on the light string. Lamp bead 1:1 usually refers to the configuration or layout ratio of lamp beads (1 color configuration, 1 lamp bead).

Multi-frame smudging: Enables painting multiple frames. Single frames are static by default, with at least two frames required for dynamic running.

The paint interface displays the paint effect on the string in real-time. Long press to copy, and multiple frames can be sorted.

4) Carousel function

Select different categories of lighting effect modes to save, and set the time of lighting effects. Combine different lighting effects for sequential playback. Long press to drag the sequence to edit.

5) Music rhythm

Music Mode: The light changes with the rhythm of the music. You can choose different music modes.

Click "Add Music" to import music files or import from the built-in music library.

Note for iOS users: Download music files to iTunes or import music from PC according to the instructions, then select music from built-in modes or recordings.

Note for Android users: Download music files to your phone to use this feature.

Click on the "Music Dynamic Mode" in the upper right corner to enter the mode of residual light editing.

Set the color combination you want and reset the default mode parameters by pressing the reset button.

2) Microphone

Utilizes the cell phone microphone or device microphone (voice-activated version only). According to the signal received by the microphone, the lighting effects will change in different rhythms. You can choose different music effects modes and adjust the brightness and sensitivity.

6) Timer function

a) According to the time you set, you can switch the lights on and off under your control.

b) When you turn on the light, you can freely choose different lighting effects in color or mode.

7) Group control function

Classify multiple controllers into the same group. You can simultaneously control the equipment in the group with one-key dimming, color dimming, switching, and other functions.

8) Scene function

In the scene interface, according to individual needs, find the corresponding controller to create different scenes of light color or dynamic effects.

9) Create Intelligence

Allows devices to communicate remotely.

• Wake up with light: Gradually brighten selected lights in the morning.
• Go to sleep: Let selected lights slowly dim until they turn off.
• Coming home: Set your lights to turn on automatically when you arrive home.
• Leaving home: Set your lights to turn off automatically when you leave your house.

10) Siri Shortcuts-IOS

Note:

• Siri can only control the scene.
• iOS 12.0 and above systems have their own shortcut function.
• Please ensure your device is "Cloud Online".

11) Widget Addition Steps (Set Scene Function in Advance)

Enter the page "Profile" > Tap "Widget" > Add the scene to Widget. Then Add "Surplife" app to Widget.

Note: If widgets disappear due to the iOS system, try restarting the phone. If this doesn't work, try reinstalling the app.

12) Voice function

On the "My" page, you can choose a third-party voice service platform (Alexa, GoogleHome, Xiaoai, etc.). Connect the device according to the instructions, and voice control can be turned on after successful connection, which is convenient and fast.

Attentions

1. Please use the product in a dry environment.
2. For input voltage, please use the DC voltage within the specified range as instructed in the manual. Do not connect to 220VAC directly.
3. The product requests a common anode connection. An incorrect connection will cause a malfunction.
